Nice place to spend some downtime at. Love watching the white tigers here. They are beautiful. Walking distance to Hard Rock Cafe .

Gina Garcia Abrego

If you think you may eat at the restaurant check the wait first & put your name in. If there's a long wait you can check out the rest of the action & you'll get a text when your table is ready.

The train , lighthouse drop, Ferriswheel, and sea carousel are so addicting to ride and the stingrays are friendly . The tour is so descriptive and elaborate.

Gulsah M

In the downtown aquarium restaurant , southern grilled fish was incredibly awful: However, Fettuccini Alfredo and natural hamburger were really tasty. service was perfect.

CultureMap Houston

500,000 gallons of underwater tanks w/200+ species of marine life , a temple w/white tigers & a train that takes you into a tunnel w/live sharks swimming overhead...And that’s just for starters.

Tere Perry

Where else can you dine with sea life in a urban setting. Ask for a tank-side table for a chance to have table-side fishy spectators...200 species of them!

Richard

Devin is by far the best waiter here. Haven't experienced others in a while but he was out standing. Took all suggestions and had an amazing time. Left a huge tip for him.

G Womack

Seared Ahi Tuna salad is so good! Try it!

Tyler Anderson

The restaurant is amazing!! Well worth the price. Tempura Mahi Mahi is to die for and the desserts are large and in charge but full of flavor. The fish are fun to watch too. YUM!

stephen fife

Get an all day pass (good value ). Stay away from endless money wasters scattered around the aquarium . Parking is $7. View from ferris wheel of downtown Houston is wonderful.

Jack Mills

Downtown Aquarium at 20 minutes drive to the east of Mills Dental Group Houston

Corey Rea

It is pricey but everything we ordered was very good...not great though. The shrimp embrochette was awesome however! Take the kids for the experience not top notch seafood

Austin Poorbaugh

The outdoor rides are a great way to spend the afternoon after seeing all of the interesting aquatic creatures as well as a white tiger !

John Sanchez

The Gulf Snapper has to be one of the best dishes here. Panfried just right and topped with lump crab meat , avocado pico and a lemon cream sauce !!!

Natalie Mendoza

The restaurant was a lil pricey but still very good & the aquarium even better. Especially if you're a fish/aquarium lover...such beautiful fish & tanks . Very clean & the staff was very friendly .

Annie Osilaja

We always have a good time every time. Great place to take a new baby to look at the fish and stay out of the heat!

White Tigers , seafood and a giant illuminated ferris wheel make this location a must see in the downtown Houston area.

Kelly Deeds

The crab at the restaurant is excellent and the staff are so helpful. Gift shop is so great!

Marly

Kind of a seedy place. A lot of the tanks look like they're not kept up very well or large enough for the number/size of fish they contain. And the tiger is just sad.

Kelly Adams Dennis

That big Ferris wheel enticing you from I-45 and I-10 invites you to experience all the Downtown Aquarium has to offer.

Tammy O'Shields

Loved the white tiger exhibit !

goodcoffy

Great family outing . Love the Ehite Tiger, he actually gave us a lot of attention :)

HISTORY

Aquarium is much fun back when I was in middle school , parent will enjoy taking their kids here especially their shark exhibit !

Darnell Jones

The food was good and the venue was awesome!

Jared Boudreaux

Coming here makes me miss REAL aquariums like Dallas and New Orleans. Of course this is better than no aquarium at all. You will feel out of place here if you are not a child or do not have children.

Yunus Emre

What a super amazing beautiful animal !!! White Tiger ! I think it is the only interesting part of that aquarium ...

Amyn Zindani

White tiger and all exhibits are fun. Ferris wheel is out of commission these days

Brian Stollfus

Kinda disappointed. Dallas Aquarium has WAY MORE bang for the buck and much LARGER. Cool nonetheless, stingray tank is awesome, you get to touch them as they try to jump out of the water.

ELS Language Centers

25 miles from ELS - food, exhibits (sharks, white tigers , sting rays, etc.) with games & rides. www.AquariumRestaurants.com/DowntownAquariumHouston/

Definitely do the shark express train - it takes you through the giant overhead shark tanks

This aquarium is quite mediocre. The saddest and most disappointing part are the white tigers . They are misplaced, appear visibly depressed and would be better suited in a larger enclosure in a zoo .

Bobby

Ocean life, a ferris wheel, food and fun for individuals and families in Downtown Houston.

Dora

The giant Ferris wheel should tip you off: This is more than just a restaurant/aquarium. Inside, look for the white tigers living among a set of ancient Indian ruins. Powered by ParentsConnect.com

The train is so descriptive when describing sharks. The narration is great.

Alican Erdem

Very small aquarium , should be visited only if you have city pass

Tim Tong

Get tickets for aquarium by the train and concession stand. Don't wait at the window by the entrance.

Mario de la Garza

FUN! Buy the full package, if you buy the simple one it would be boring. The sharks are AWESOME!

Naomi Tissier

Just had th cheesesteak on a hoagie .... Pretty darn good! Just ask for steak sauce .

Kelly Colby

The Wild Nights Overnight was a blast! Coral kept us entertained and Reef kept her under control.

Steve R

The aquarium is worth the $10 admission and use your Landy card when paying for the food. Food and service was excellent - would eat here again
