When you arrive with checked luggage, you go out into the public area of the airport first. You can take a detour at this point and have a coffee , get a snack before heading on to collect bags.

Took me a while to find the lockers. If you're looking for one at Terminal 1, go to the first floor hall B , near to Marché restaurant .
The old Lufthansa business lounge is closed. The new lounge is located in A plus arcade near gate A14.
Drinking water near gate A20. Deutsche Bank ATM (no fees) near A21.
Big place, you need a bit of time to get to the connecting gates
The Crispy Giuseppe sandwich at gate B48 is awesome, especially with a capuccino
Wear good walking shoes . Walks, even from term A to C, are endless. A marathon is easier to do. If possible avoid FRA, do Munich.

Going through the passport control to the gates B, check the counters behind the duty free next to a newspaper shop, less people there

Allow plenty of.time to get through terminal 1. Totally messed up passport control and angry passengers today. Lucky to have made my plane .
Baggage carts are free and they can go up and down the escalators...German engineering !
