Umami Burger

The burger were really tasty as they are unique and different from the typical American Burger . I ordered Truffle fries and it was amazing.. I really enjoyed the thinness of the fries there ;)

Seriously creative burgers ! Some of the best and most interesting burgers I have ever had! If you haven't been here yet, I recommend it. Certainly the best burger in Santa Monica.

Hey there, I am at Umami Burger for the second time that is mean I love it and by I love it I mean I am a fan of it. I recommend to you to try Manly Burger which is the best.

While the Umami burger is tasty it's not the best I've ever had. I did enjoy it though. I might have enjoyed the truffled fries more. Finish your meal with a cakewich. They're like gourmet Ring Dings.

the truffle burger with truffle fries & with potatoes & cheese and the onions ring , but I surprised our burgers was cold even we dine in at the outdoor area , not impressed with the patty size & taste.

Santa Monica Burger (Ox Tail ) was pretty good! Ask waiter for their top 3 favorite sauces and dip the burger in it. The jalapeño and garlic aioli sauce +++

Bring napkins, burgers are very drippy. Definitely lives up to its name, the food here has an Umami mushroomy sensation. Nice vibes and service, a somewhat upscale burger chain.

First time here. Got the Original. Very good. Unique flavors. Meal was made very special as we were sat next to Robert Downy Jr and his kid. He had the Manly Burger . Now I know what to get next time!

The different burger patties are made and prepared with attention to detail with great tasting meat and other options. If you love burgers or even if you don't you can't go wrong here.

Truffle Burger was amazing with italian truffle cheese and a truffle glaze. Thin Fries add Aioli sauce . You can try homemade ketchup .

Maple bacon fries & truffle fries were both amazing, as is their house umami ketchup

The Umami Burger was the best decision I've ever made. Also the Smushed Potato with Garlic Aoili is amazing. Try the Umami ketchup sauce - tastes like barbeque tomato , yum :)

Eat the ketchup . Load it on each fry. Then ask for more. Also try the Earth Burger . Went here for the first time last night. DELICIOUS. Ps umami burger, if you see this, please sell me your ketchup .

High-quality and riddled with finesse, the flavors are too experimental and diverse for the average burger lover. My recommendation: take all the sauces on the side and go for a simple burger option.

Try the Triple Pork Burger (with ground pork , chorizo and bacon with manchego cheese & pimento aioli ). And the sweet potato fries ...and tempura onion rings are good too. The only bad is the price.

The truffle fries are awesome. I didn't really like the Umami Burger but the Manly Burger was pretty tasty. If you haven't been to Umami Burger, it may seem kind of hidden so look for Fred Segal.

I unfortunately had a Truffle Burger that was overcooked when asked for medium rare. The burger itself is full of flavor but you need to get the right temperature. Smushed potatoes are a must!!!
