Paitan ramen , takoyaki *just* like in Japan, karaage chicken , honjuku eggs and totally delicious bamboo shoot tsukemono (pickles ) in the broth. Just wonderful.

Great! One of the best in Chicago certainly. I had the shio ramen , the broth was light was light & there was a generous helping of pork . Pork buns & takoyaki were both top notch as well . A+

The signature here is an unconventional chicken broth (Japanese ramen is usually pork broth ). I enjoyed the spicy version, it had some solid kick!

Not a bad spot, but seemed pricey to me for ramen , pork buns , and a beer . I enjoyed High Five a lot more (in the basement of Green Streat Meats). Deeper flavor, a lot spicier, a little cheaper.

Miso bold & spicy then when people ask you how long you will be at the table, don’t ask them to bring water, they may be customers. Oops.

Come for the ramen , stay for all the other goodies including Brussels sprouts and mini rice bowls

This is the sister restaurant to wasabi in Logan square. Their ramen is chicken broth based by just as delicious.

Chicken Paitan was good except for one thing: onions . Why put them on when they still taste raw?

Staff is kind of snooty, don't expect to be able to give your name before everyone is there. Ramen wasn't great either. Slurping Turtle had a much richer broth.

Ramen so so compared to other options. Buns were better but still felt thrown together. Service not bad but felt like they’d rather be doing something else.
