The Elysian was founded in 1995 by Dick Cantwell (President/Head Brewer), Joe Bisacca (CFO/Head of Operations) and David Buhler (Sales & Marketing Director). Our first Seattle location, a 220-seat beer hall and our main brewery, opened in 1996 on Capitol Hill, Seattle’s most populous neighborhood.

The bratwurst is really amazing. All the combination with the potato bread with apple on the top and the caramelized onion with the mustard it's stunning. The best sausage I ever had.
Try their standard craft brews . Signatures are hit or miss. However the tapas and food are amazing. Get the Pita and Hummus . Also try their meatloaf sandwich with Chipotle
If you like amazingly rich food, try the Steak Frites with Bleu Cheese sauce . It's soooo good! Also: the craft brews here are fantastic!
Legend has it if you sit under the guardian devil, he'll grant you your heart's desire, but it'll turn out to bite you in the ass.
Beer is great, anyone will find a suitable variety
Good happy hour , friendly bartenders , and a quality rotating food and drink menu.
Strong IPA 's good food and excellent service what do you want more?
One of the best brew pubs in the city , so many great beers for every taste and the food is great too!
Used to come here quite a bit before all the recent neighborhood gentrification & haven't lived in Seattle for years, but I come back every time I visit & it's just as great as ever.
Just tried the 10th release of the Apocalypse this year, Blight Pumpkin Ale . Freakin' delicious @7.4% too. You gotta try it.
One of my favorite local breweries . Try to get your lips on the Cyclops. It's a seasonal barley wine that's potent - one glass will make you tingle. Also has tasty hummus and a great atmosphere.
Ace microbrewery pub n' grub hangout in the heart of Pike/Pine area. Changing seasonal brews keep the beer fan on his/her toes, the food is consistently tasty and the atmosphere is friendly/fun. Read more
The steamed clams are a tad salty but delish nonetheless! Try the porter , it's more coffee than beer !
Great specialty cocktails and cider (if you can't drink beer ). And the fish tacos were to die for (and gluten-free)!
Laid back atmosphere with good beer and decent bites. The hummus plate was surprisingly good.
The Great Pumpkin Ale is good but Mortis Sour Persimmon Ale is probably the best beer I've had in my life. So, get that.
for Micro brew Ales and some good bar food, it really doesn't get much better than this! Immortal IPA is the link! And the special limited seasonal and guest micro-brewery beers are always ill!
Good craft brews , though not all was to my taste. Come and try all!
I absolutely love their pumpkin beer . It's not cool that you can't pick your own flight, though. That's lame.
The beer is awesome and the food is very good too! Highly recommended.
All the beers are amazing, but definitely try The Fix. You'll be wide awake for hours.
Next time trying a veg meal. The brisket was mad chewy but the squash and sprouts it came with were excellent.
No brunch , just lunch , but it's good food, I liked the gumbo , my wife the meatloaf special.
Need a cold one? Happy Hour at @elysianbrewing Thurs-Sunday from 4:30-6:30: $1 off pints of beer ! http://elysianbrewing.com/elysian_hh.html
Big name with few actually enjoyable beers . Try the cappuccino stout .
Pretzels are bomb! Love the new vibes.
If you are a fan of craft beer , you MUST go here when in Seattle.
Tall and Skinny. Get one. Lavender DRY Soda with Stoli and fresh blueberries . Super yum!
The Avatar Jasmine IPA is just phenomenal. Get it on draft if available.
The steak frites are always good. Don't skimp on the sauce.
Catch the staff on Monday or Tuesday, when the bar is emptier.
The beer is still good in spite of the takeover. I just had a bad experience with service and food. Don't order the tomato rosemary soup . Tastes like Campbell's.
So...it used to be a reasonable place to visit and expect great service/a great atmosphere. As of late, it sucks. If you want a corner bar with shit ass attitude and lame ass service, come here.

Good IPA’s and decent pub grub.
The seasonal beer flight is a must!
The split pea soup is Devine!
If its fall, Dark O The Moon is a must (so is the Great Pumpkin ). Both have medaled at the Great American Beer Fest.
I'm from Milwaukee, WI - a beer capital of the world - with a plethora of micro-brewers, and Elysians is quite unique. Thought it was exceptional!
Washington Beer Lover members, be sure to bring your passport to get a stamp.
Buy a flight to sample everything!
Late lunch/early dinner..regardless : A BEAUTY OF A DAY
Good beer , great lentil soup .
This is where the geeks hangout. Get a sample and choose the one that best fits your taste.
If you're a hophead and a Ridley Scott fan, there's a beer here called PROMETHEUS.
Always check for beers they might only make once--you might never get to try them again.
drinkable booze. edible food. livable domiciles.
Their food is pretty good, my fav is the falafel tabouli plate. But above food, they have great beer and amazing bartenders that make really good cocktails even though it's a brewery :)
Get the seasonal beer flight !
Whoa pumpkin ale is very pumpkin-y!
