It's a bit 'rough' in terms of the environment & service (blunt) but this is real Cantonese street food . It's all about the food which is excellent. Highly recommended if you love Asian street food .
Awesome 中色牛柳 (pictured). Good 肉餅. Definitely go as a large group. Can order more! Had great seafood too! Especially razor clams ! Don't bother with the deep fried squid
Their famous 黑椒薯仔牛柳粒 (Stir-fried beef fillet and potatoes in black pepper sauce ) is very good.
This dish was excellent, light & packed with flavour. I'm not too sure what the translation is but it might be called garlic chives (it's not garlicky) & comes with dried shrimps & squid
Stir fried clams with black bean sauce . I know we've all had black bean sauce before but their version is really good. I'm sure the other variations inc razor clams are delicious aswell
Awesome ! For sure the ambiance and atmosphere can scare you but the Food !!! So great ! Black bean clams , plum sauce pork leg , steam shrimps , salt & pepper mantis shrimp ...
Another Cantonese late night snack/beer food favourite - deep fried intestines cooked perfectly. Trust me it tastes nicer than it looks! ????????
If you are looking for high-end food, service and environment dont come here, This is where you enjoy the typical street food in HK especially between 50s-60s when air-con restaurants were not popular
Dai pai dong is a type of open-air food stall commonly found in HK. They prepare the food as you order so expect a freshly cooked plate. We went for the Roasted Pigeon and we had to repeat order.
Nice place, good food, huge portions . I mean, seriously. It's like for 3 people each. We ordered one bowl of soup and it's enough to drown a toddler
HK street food at its best. Wash it all down with a Blue Girl beer for maximum effect.
One of the best street joints in Kowloon. Great veggie food, peppered tofu , celery frogs. Worth the detour!
The actual address is not correct (it's not Lai Chi Lok Rd although it's close. It's on Shek Kip Mei St. They have a few shops on the same side of the street due to expansion (competitor op'site)
