An awesome tonkatsu place on this side of the Pacific Ocean. Make sure to order a meal rather than a donburi so you can enjoy the crispy texture of the nicely prepared tonkatsu .

I got the curry tonkatsu and it was sooo good! It felt like I was back in my beloved Japan. Super kind people (as you'd expect from a Japanese staff ), great food and reasonable prices. Loved it!

Visited just opening time without reservation and took the one of the center table. Selected mixed combinations, crispy outside, juicy inside. The combination might be a good for the first time visit!

This place is like going to Japan. Get the thick cut tonkatsu . Don’t be shy on the cabbage and miso soup , it’s unlimited!

Get the Kurobuta tonkatsu . It is good and worth it. If you've had tonkatsu before, the loco moco tonkatsu is a solid choice too.

Deep flied pork cutlet , chickin, today's appetizer like sashimi , Japanese sake , etc. Good quality and reasonable price between 30-40dollars per person. You will be satisfied.

That Kurobata pork katsu . . . really good, but not thirty bucks good. This pushed my value-for-money limit. There's a reason there's still some left at 9PM on a Saturday.
