Huge restaurant with just as big bar in front. Interesting decor and good service . The tartare is good and the potatoes are great but my favorite was vegetable puff pastries w tomato sauce & asparagus

A true Zürich institution. Always friendly service and relaxed vibe . Good for big groups. Menu is fresh and everything is good value to be honest. Wanna be a true local have the tartar . Very good.

Very nice and cozy place with great service. Portions are not for big hungers - on the other hand allows to try more dishes, but of course adds to the bill in the end which won't be the lowest in city

Pumpkinsoup is so good you might accidentally eat the spoon as well . It is also the place I went to see Simon Amstell do a gig, so naturally Volkshaus has my everlasting love.

Nice spot. Service is up to the price. Meatballs are amazing but avoid the meatloaf : two of us got intoxicated. And the end of the night was not pleasant.

I had lamb with plum sauce and it was enjoyable but nothing too special. The building was kind of kitschy in a combination of a good way and a bad way. The waiter was cold and rude.

Cool Zurich brasserie . Lively place . Food alright. My salad lacked seasoning and dressing , my main course was nothing special. Service us good. To be kept as a back up!

Never again! We were forced to pay and leave the restaurant as soon as finishing our meals (1 hour an 15 min in total) as they have double booked the table.
