Osmium is the sister shop of Chicago favorite Star Lounge , and even though Lakeview is known for its coffee scene, Osmium has established itself in the neighborhood as one of the top coffee shops .

Best coffee bar in the city . Ice coffee on tap in summer. Pour overs at the ready in winter. Great espresso and drip at all times. Baristas are super friendly and knowledgable . Come and stay awhile!

The Osmium Coffee Bar has such a cool atmosphere. Their cold-brew coffee is simply unbeatable in the city . The staff goes above and beyond with their friendliness and helpfulness. Highly recommended.

If you like lattes , the Gingersnap Trainwreck is a solid choice. It tastes remarkably similar to its namesake...the gingersnap, not the trainwreck. I have no idea what a trainwreck tastes like.

A place with good wifi and few seats. If you are looking for an iced mocha , go elsewhere.

I avoid caffeine, but went here for a meeting. I've gotten a lot of rudeness when trying to order decaf espresso drinks elsewhere, but not here! Only helpful suggestions and a tasty decaf drink. Yay!
