Really nice inside and really nice experience. The chairs recline so you feel right at home but with a better view of the movie you're watching. Great place to go with friends.
Sign up for the Maya Club. You can purchase tickets on their website and not have to pay the stupid fee Fandango charges AND you get to use the kiosk inside to pick up your tickets.
The seats r worth it!!!
A number of their "special engagements" are just Blu-Ray discs piped through a projector . Doesn't bother me — seeing the menus are pretty funny — but it might bother you.
Best theater in Bakersfield area for viewing but: On weekends, the soda machine area is always an unappetizing mess. And isn't it about time to remove the Avatar poster?
