Double Peak Park

Highly recommend to hike here from Discovery Lake . Decent hike and very nice view even though this place is very close to civilization.

Double Peak Park at 12 minutes drive to the south of San Marcos dentist Allred Dental

It's not the most beautiful hike . As a tourist in San Diego I wouldn't put it on a must see list. A lot of it is paved and while it does go up very high, it isn't particularly pretty.

Cool walking trail at the top of the park to the cell towers. Watch out for the occasional snake .

Keep in mind near the bottom you have to go through a neighborhood and re- find the trail

Beautiful 360 degree view

Stand front and center in the amphitheater and listen to your voice.

watch out for snakes !!!;)

Dress warm!!! That means do bring a jacket :]

Bring binoculars !
