One of the few "real" markets I know in Berlin. Great for veggies as well as for textiles. Incredibly cheap too. It can get crowded and load, the way a market should be :)

4 cucumbers = 1€. Beat that, LIDL! Besides lots of fresh stuff, Turkish and European food and nice people.

It's every Tuesday and Friday . Buy some fresh bread , blue cheese , olives , bread spread and eat it right there at the canal .

Fantastic prices: 2eur for 10(!) avocados or 4 mangos or 3 boxes of raspberry . Very authentic . You could also find some national food kiosks- turkish, ethiopian, korean

Amazing farmers market with fresh fish , olives , stuffed pita bread and various goods. Definitely get some fruit , cheese , smoked fish , and fresh bread .

Super Turkish markets with lots of options, spices, fresh food and tons of fruits and veggies . Super cheap !

Great fresh produce , good atmosphere, and amazing Turkish food . There's also a little place called Lale Imbiss on Maybachufer 8 that has amazing gozleme and borek on the same street as the market .

Market highlights: best falafel+halloumi sandwich (mit alles), kofta wrap , make-your-own glühwein spices from the tea merchant.

Coolest place to get your weekly dose of fruit and veggies ! Make sure to check all stands before buying, some choices are way cheaper than the others!

Try the organic coffees . Also a very good place to buy high quality movie posters, especially the editions that are hard to find...!

Fabrics galore from €2.50/m, fresh produce at ridiculously low prices, street food by the €. Grab some food/drinks and park yourself by the canal . Sorted.

Grab some lunch , like a Gözleme for 1,80€, enjoy it by the canal , then get your weekly fruits/veggies around 16-17:00 when everything is extra cheap !

We come here every week, shortly before they close. The dumping prices at that time are unbeatale.

If you want good fresh veggies and fruit for a fair price come here. At the end of the market they basically give it away.

You can great deals on most things (esp fresh herbs ) but not all. Take notice & shop around!

There are 3 Gözleme places, my favourite is the white tent at the river side, first one coming from Kottbusser Brücke :P
