Inn of the Hawke

Was here with family last week and everyone loved it. When deciding what restaurant to visit on a later evening, a brother stated he wished to return here and all agreed with him.

The inn itself is clean , comfortable and nicely decorated. Best of all, beds are firm and pillows are comfy , the prices are the best in the area and they even allow 1 night stays on weekends.

This fabulous well kept secret is off the beaten path, a short walk from Bridge St. Love the outdoor patio dining , as well as the huge U-shaped bar inside. Wait staff is good, food was delicious.

Nice setting, some quality drafts , and can definitely recommend the Mac n cheese with bacon and lump crab .

Went here with our large family gathering. Everyone loved it so much we went back the next day

Carve a pumpkin for Halloween (while you drink a beer/s ) and have it featured on the back patio .

Fuller’s ESB on tap , crab and Portobello mushroom salad for dinner . (Or lunch ).

Off the beaten path away from the tourists , the best outdoor seating in town , reasonable prices, great menu that is always changing and a nice place to get a drink.

Had the portabella burger . Loved it. Interesting beer selection .

Macaroni and cheese ... A great winter choice! Also fab turkey burgers !

Must have home made pub chips and best salads etc. - plus always a vegitarian delight.
