Mussels w chorizo and lobster roll for main eats & trio of creme brûlée (vanilla , espresso & pistachio ) w ice coffee and macchiato for dessert - add some sun, sit outside and you're good to go

The menu had me somewhat concerned, but this place was a pleasant surprise. Great cocktails , wine and beer , and the food was very vibrant and flavorful. Nice decor, friendly staff and manhattan view

The Kale salad with candied walnuts and dried cherries and Caesar dressing infused with lemon zest and garlic , so good. Having Maria as your server, the BEST!!!

Oysters were super fresh and their burrata with pumpkin was delicious. Also, service was friendly and while slow at times, was actually perfect for a nice, intimate Friday night dinner .

Great selection of beers to have with American Classic with a foodie twists. For instance the eggs Florentine had a nice portobello mushroom . A squash soup was dress with garlic shoots.

The lobster roll and fish and chips were delicious. Not you’re typical fish and chips . Really nice flavor. Nice ambiance, too!

Pretty great brunch and the place has a great feel and decor. Service was excellent. Thumbs up to the Light Horse worth a Sunday in Jersey City.

Eli at the bar makes a fantastic everything. Garlic shrimp , great. Mussels , fantastic. Octopus salad , good! Crispy pork ribs , amazing! Raw bar is superb.

Brunch Benedicts are always good. Try the lobster one. For dinner , the beet salad is flavorful #. Pan-seared duck breast is a local favorite.

The Calamari withe the Spicy Yellow Tomato Ragout is outrageous. Do yourself a favor and. Order a double because everyone will be eating yours

The chocolate ganache with pomegranate and roasted walnuts is such a great pairing. Not too rich and just the perfect portion for one.

Different specials everyday. Come early on Thursday for Prime Rib because they tend to run out ...

Brunch ? Get an order of the pancakes . I don't really like pancakes but these slices of heaven are not your average pancakes . I got the banana & choc . So good. You can thank me later. You're welcome!

Light Horse Tavern does not disappoint. Beer selection is excellent. I've been there five times and the food has always been good to excellent.

The beer list is fairly extensive. Nice rotation on both draught and bottle. You will find something to compliment your meal.

Bloody Mary is quite good. Just the right amount of spice

Huge place. Loved the romantic outdoor seating and the sea bass . Perfect for date night .

The food is great, but the table service is AWFUL. If you go, sit at the bar . The full menu is available, and the bar staff is friendlier/more attentive.

The French toast is killer. You can order anything and won't be disappointed though.

The bar menu has a dew different (and less expensive ) selections. The hamburger (at the bar or at a table) is excellent!

Salmon Benedict is really good. Get the banana bread .
