Good character pub with good beers & reasonably priced meals. Large portions :-) Seating is in several separate areas, so it's good if you prefer your own quiet space.
I really like it here - we've been for meals several times. The food is lovely - plenty of choice, cooked well and reasonably priced.
Best to sit in the old part of the pub , much more atmosphere. Also Simons chillie is fantastic if you like it hot, great with chips instead of rice :-)
