Deckhand Oyster Bar & Seafood

The bartenders are always awesome! The gumbo is the BEST I've had in Austin. The deckhand sauce is amazing. I put it in my gumbo . The happy hour is great! I love the beachcomber (oysters & shrimp )

The Thai dishes are great. I love the Steamed Fish , Drunken Sailor, stuffed catfish , stuffed flounder , whole flounder , Thai stir fry (off menu).Try the key lime Margarita cheesecake !

Good oysters and the house green Thai cocktail sauce is great to go with them.

Had the oyster poboy lunch special . A good amount of food for the price! Oysters on the half shell were fresh and tasty too.

Some Thai inspired dishes here which is a nice surprise. Atmosphere is just ok though (you're in a strip mall and it feels like that) and portion sizes are gigantic.

Baked oyster sampler was excellent, just a shame the service was so chaotic.

We've been here several times, everything has been great...5 stars!

Off the menu : order the salt and pepper calamari , shrimp , or soft shell crab

Broiled pompano with Thai basil sauce and Siam eggplant were great

Oysters and salt & pepper calamari were good. Blackened snapper was inedible.
