The atmosphere here cannot be beat! Wonderful decor, tree forts, swings at the bar and eating with sand in your toes. We were also pleased to find that the menu had clear gluten free options !
La Buena Vida is the right name for this place. The ambiance, the design of the space, sand between the toes, the view to the ocean, the food. My lemon soup and the Tic Kin Xic fish was delicious.
This place is great. It looks like a pirate ship fantasy novel with ropes and sand and a treehouse palapa. Friendly service , fast ordering, surprisingly good food, and a robust happy hour . ⚓️????

Great happy hour ! Our second trip to Akumal we love coming here and sitting at the swing bar staring out at the ocean! Order the Chi-chi or Pink Panther????

Great for breakfast , lunch and dinner . Come early and hang out, relax for several hours. Enjoy the pool and beach .
A very nice local restaurant . Right on the beach , varied food and drinks. Orginal taste and casual ambiance. I like it.

Skip all the annoying guides. All you need is your snorkelling set, swim to the grassy areas and you will see turtles and big fish - Ahuv ????????
Less developed/commercialized/crowded version of xel-ha, though also much smaller. $20 gets you in, $5 gets you a snorkel. You'll see a lot of cool fish. Def worth a stop - Cooper Smith
