Food is great, but be warned the food is very spicy especially if they are using summer Thai peppers . You have to try Garlic and black pepper , Crispy basil chicken and khao pad krapow.
Crispy Basil Tofu , Baan Thai Fried Noodles and Garlic and Black Pepper was just too good. Tough to find a Thai restaurant in the Bay Area that's as good as this one.
Great food! Careful with the spice levels. Service can be very slow when you dine-in, as they deal with a lot of to-go orders - and that can be frustrating.
You can't go wrong with their curries ! The yellow is amazing. Also, make sure you ask to sit upstairs. It's warmer and a lot less awkward.
Best pad thai in Portland. Satay is delicious too. Listen to the servers' warning about spice. Medium is extremely hot. Service is slow but great food!
Green curry is amazing. My favorite Thai place in Portland. If you can't handle spicy go somewhere else.
Wow... Very spicy ! Im always skeptical of new places when I go & ask for hot, and the waiter tries to talk you down - but holy spice - their medium was on fire! Order hot at your own risk. Excellent!
These dishes were amazingly huge! Baan Thai would be great for a date on a budget b/c you could easily share one plate. The wide noodles were tasty. You'll be satisfied!
Everything they say about the spiciness is true! Listen to your waiter ; order mild or mild plus & the food is really good too!
order "Pad Thai Thai Style" Not on the menu . It will include dry shrimp and authentic . Totally different from regular pad thai in the menu. You'll definitely like it.
Pineapple Curry , Chicken Potstickers and Thai tea is delicious. Slow service, so don't be in a rush.
Challenge a friend to order their dish "hot" with you and see who can get the farthest. The wait staff will try to talk you out of it. Bring kleenex and brace yourself for the pain!
The food is amazing, though super spicy . However, the service is pretty bad. But with food this good, I don't mind.
The food is great, but be warned-- even when the place is empty the service is notoriously slow, sometimes to the point of frustration. Eat here and enjoy, but expect to take your time.
These guys aren't messing around. Order one spiciness level lower than usual.
Just order pineapple fried rice , just do it.. You won't regret it..
Open Mon-Sat 11a - 10p. They stop seating at 9:30p. If you're lucky you may be the exception.
Garlic & pepper stir fry is the best
First time eating thai food and I loved it. :)
Prepare to be seated and promptly forgotten by the wait staff .
AMAZING chicken pad thai .
Fresh and deletions????????!!!
Best curry and best Pad Kee Mao in town . Try it!
Quality food takes time. Don't expect a quick meal here.
Medium plus was a bad idea- its so good tho!!!
Takes really long to get the food!
Great food but the service is always weirdly disorganized and slow :/
Be prepared to wait. As I write this I've sat here for over a half hour before I even spoke to my sever
Closed in June.
Service slllloooow. Not even that busy. Pet peeve: not being acknowledged or order taken in a timely manner.
Good service , terribly long wait even when not crowded .
So far everything ordered has been good!
never get medium unless you can really handle spicy food . go for mild or mild plus.
Beef mussamun is too sweet, dont go for it
try the tomkha soup , tis delicious
Be prepared to wait. Sat down 20 min ago still have not talked to a server
Try the Crispy Basil Tofu , yum!
Good food, terrible service.
Be prepared to wait. Today we waited 70 minutes before our food came. Food was mostly OKAY but some chicken dishes tasted like fish .
Horrible service
Prueba un platillo llamado Pad thai y panang curry deliciosos
Superb Thai food for a city inundated with Thai places. Best place for the money I've found in he area. - kevlyn mathews
I get the panang curry at least every other week now that we are living in “quarantine.” Everything I’ve had here is great, but I’m obsessed with the panang. ❤️ - Erin Marshall
Great take-out food. Tom yum soup, salad rolls, and the red curry with tofu are my go-to's! - Anna
Lots of good study seating. Couches, small tables, a few larger tables and bar seating also. - Colton Groves
Everything here is really good from the mochas to the bagels to the bubble tea and teriyaki chicken - and a pretty good price - M Brown
