Fried yellow tail is amazingly crunchy and flavorful. Tostones con jaiba are also outstanding. The place is not nice and it may have a fish market smell but food is excellent.
Basically your classic diner but serves classic Cuban seafood . The fish soup is to die for, ask for any fresh catch grilled or fried
Great neighborhood atmosphere on 8th street. The fried shrimp were large and fresh!
Excellent "Minuta" fish sandwich . Also, don't miss the "frituritas de bacalao" (codfish fritters ).
Not really a Caribbean restaurant , this family-style operation is, however, a good spot for fresh standard seafood dishes with Cuban nuances. Read more
The smoked fish dip is incredible. The cod fish fritters are also delicious. Must haves!

On friday they have harina con jaiba .... Its crab grits .... Cuban style .... Soooo good!
Always good food, but sit in front or way in the back so you aren't inhaling fish market smell !
The food is great as well as the staff
You can never go wrong w the broiled dolphin . My favorite dish
The camaron al ajillo and the calamares are the bomb!!
Best seasoned broiled dolphin fillet in Miami.

Love la sola De Cherna !
Excellent food and impeccable service. I had the hogfish and wife had the grouper. Both were amazing. The lobster bisque was also excellent. - ReelBum Clothing Co.
They have the BEST WonTon soup. Make sure it's fresh though! - Dragon Heart
