Best entry into a bar ever, absolutely loved the concept! I recommend this place: great atmosphere, good cocktails , nice staff . Cocktails are a bit expensive though.

Lizzie P

Get your case ready before entering this detective agency ;) Hands down the best entry into a bar . Absolute must visit if you're a speakeasy fan!

Ouicestmoi

Amazing concept! Have a solid case and play along! Amazing 20's decor and superb atmosphere but too loud for dates on weekends.

Magdaline Diles

Amazing scene. Amazing cocktails . Best "real" fries (they're not frozen chips ). The rest of the food is ok and it's pretty prices. Definitely worth at least 1 visit.

D

They really take the detective agency image seriously so be prepared. Once you're in, the atmosphere is lovely and cocktails are great. The Yuzual Suspects is amazing!

Alexandros Plexidas

Find an intriguing story to tell to the guy at the entrance and he will let you enter this speakeasy cocktail bar. The cocktails themselves were good and of decent size.

Andy Kanenas

Loved the atmosphere and the cocktails here. At very impressive the first time you visit, I won’t spoil it why, go and see for yourselves.

Liz D

I'm not a big drinker but thought the Librarian's Libation had exquisite flavor. I tried to trip up the "detective" who greeted me by making my case ludicrous, but he didn't bite :) Still fun tho.

Richard Frazier

Extremely unexpected for Earls Court, but worth going out of your way for. Lots of bars are going for the prohibition theme, but Evans & Peel have it nailed . Have your back story straight on entry .

Rebecca Mazza

The cocktails are great. Make sure to submit your "case" well in advance. It's only a couple minutes of role play

Kostas

Fun and atmospheric place. Loved the candles on the tables. Think of a case and make it exciting (not necessary but more fun).

Tobias Otte

Fun place to go if you like some role play . Book in advance and make up a story to get access. Good cocktails but nothing extraordinary.

Nick Sorros

Nice atmosphere, suitable for dates. Tried the iced tea cocktail and it had a very unique taste.

Lillian Paschalidi

The atmosphere's great&the concept is unique!Food&cocktails were below average. We were 5 friends, each tasted a different cocktail :all cocktails tasted bad. Will go back trying wine or beer next time.

Missy

After being greeted at reception, you have to give a made up mystery to be led through a secret door behind the bookcase that leads you into the bar . Cocktails are yum, food portions are very small.

Jennifer Carter

Amazing speakeasy ! Be prepared for fun on the door and a great atmosphere inside!

Jennifer

Prepare your "case" before you arrive! Cocktails are delicious and the smoked cheesecake is unusual but you should try it :)

Jo N

Wow! Prepare your story before!! Get in before 9pm on Saturday to get a seat! Quail cocktail was gooood!

Marc S

Fun concept but a bit too loud and they served me a whisky sour on the rocks! ????

Πιστούλα

Great atmosphere. The cocktails were really good but quite strong! Definitely recommend it!

Hannah Taylor

Great dining experience, but stay away from the Yorkshire caipiriana unless you like drinking vinegar, because that's quite literally what it is!

Rachel Wang Pang

Good fun experience to get in, love it every time I go

Kopernikus

Nice concept, environment and drinks.

Hel Ga

A little bit e pendice and not a big selection of food.. But the place and the 'trick' def worth it

Steve Manktelow

The best bar in west London. Great sliders , divine pretzels and who wouldn't drink radiator beer ?

Steff Hind

Make sure you have your case prepared. And go to burlesque in the last Sunday of every month

Carmen Litiu

Get there early and sit at the bar . Tell the barmen what you like and let them do the rest...

Damien Bénazet

Very good cocktails . The cheese with mapple syrup is a must!

Jean Francois Hector

got to book in advance. mock detective agency, make up a story to get access to cocktail bar + restaurant

R G

Beautiful atmosphere

Shreena

Markedly underwhelmed by @evansandpeel unfortunately. Underground pub with gimmicky entrance; reasonably priced food yet unrefined drinks.

James Allen

Get your story straight before entering. Then sit back and let then deal with your case.

Henry Hatton

Try their moonshine beer . Very good.

Amin Manzouri

Thw staff are annoying and overplay the whole speak easy theme.

Chris Dobson

Best kept secret

Kondy Mhone

Make sure you remember the case details!

Eoghan Hayes

You need a booking . Probably won't get in without one. You need to be buzzed in!

Jay Alson

Incredible place. Please state your case. Don't mess up.
