Sumo Sushi & Bento

Almost seem quite hidden but never lost in translation. This gem of a restaurant is a goldmine for sushi , sashimi , bento 's and anything Japanese. Love the food. Omedeto Gozaimasu Sumo!

For some reason i always felt that this branch's quality level was always less than the others. Extensive menu which is always good which is frequently updated.

I have tried almost all of the bentos in the menu. My favourite is the BBQ Beef Bento with Teriyaki Sauce . Good for two!

Crunchy crazy is one of their signature dishes and one of my favourites ;-) try their chicken teriyaki bento as well .

As mainstream as it is, Sumo remains my sushi restaurant of choice. Great service, great food.

3* out of 5: the chirashi bento is just ok. i can appreciate the fish was super fresh, and not smelly, but overall there wasn't much difference in taste aside from the squid which was chewy & chalky.

Be careful of parking . I just got 200 aed fine last week. Apparently there is no paid parking unless you park across road . It's a bummer as they are losing customer due to lack of proper access to pk

Best sushi in town . Try the spicy tuna handroll and spicy edemame

Get a snack along with you if you come for lunch , its quite a wait.

Sumo is hidden from the main road . You will find it directly behind Ziara's

Used to go there once a week, however last 2 times i got food poisoning. On top of that service is slow and bad, seen some flies in the internet city branch... Wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

Try their teriyaki chicken ! Soooo good!

This evening. No tuna . No trevally. Practically half of the menu is gone. On top, service cant keep up with customer. 1 staff serving 8 tables. Not sure what others are doing.
