Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa

Keep an eye out for key/peep hole menahunes (sp?). I'll give away one to get you started: find an octopus in the rocks of the baby water splash area; one of its eyes is a peephole into a cute scene!

Special place with amazing attention to detail. Make sure to check out the character breakfast . 100% worth the money. Disney did Paradise right here!

The spa is AMAZING!!! The resort is great and the beach is man made but I like it, there are about 3 watersides and a lazy river ! But don't go to Germaine's luau! There not the best at recomadations!.

Try the infinity pools to hear the dolphins and the whales. Go early to the beach to get beach toys and boogies boards they are free, the bigger stuff is for a fee but totally worth it.

My fiancé and I stayed in a ocean view room. King size bed all the emenities along with hot tub .$740.00 night . Now I paid for her family there with a partial view of ocean for only $550.00 a night.

If you book for one night, you get access to the pool/beach when it opens before check in and all day after check out the next day. Lazy river , lagoon , multiple pools and slides- all worth it!n

My favorite place is the bottom level of the infinity whirlpool . It's not too hot, it's shady, and you have a full view of the ocean. You can't beat it.

Beautiful resort . Great if you have kids. Food is expensive . Be prepared to travel if you want to eat different stuff. Pools are nice and so is the beach . Resort is very clean and well staffed.

Character breakfast was great. They come around to greet and take pics with you; live entertainment that involves your kids. I was able to sneak bites into keiki as she was happily distracted.

When you first walk into the lobby it is like walking into a cathedral with high ceiling that overcomes you. My fiancé and I stay in a Villa with an ocean view.A safe is there in room for your jewelry

If you are a Disney fan the. This is the resort for you. Make sure to make reservations for breakfast with Mickey at Makahiki. Shaved ice is definitely a must try too!

Amazing experience, service, and stay at this hotel . This is Disney done right, but not too in your face. This was the perfect vacation for us and our 3 year old daughter.

Inner-tube water slide doesn't hurt your back. I usually skip water slides for that reason but not here! Pause at the top to let the water build up behind your tube for a faster ride!

Island store is across street at stop sign before entering Aulani. It is ABC franchise shop. Save money and get your food otems here, and they have a fresh deli with salads made on the spot. Save $$$

What a wonderful resort ! The meals, as expected, are pricey ...but you are staying at a resort . The slides were great, my younger sister who is scared of everything loved the "fast" slide.

Good day trip from Waikiki vacation. Nice character breakfast buffet . Very interactive and fun for the keikis. Get parking validated and hit the pristine beach .

This is another place that Disney did right. Relaxing, enjoyable and fantastic. Food is a little pricey but you can also hit the market across the street. Shaved ice is good too

Great walking path along resorts and ocean. When you get to the end @ the North go off path to see some tide pools rocks.

The best part of the character breakfast was the time they allow your family to take pictures with Mickey. Not rushed. And they take them with each person's cell phone and camera , no problem.

Starlit Hui is a great show... The line tends to start about an hour before the pre-show, so get there early. They won't let the line in until 15 minutes before the pre-show, however.

If you have children, or you're a child at heart yourself, you must do the Disney Character breakfast ! Come 15 min before your reservation . Ham , dim sum , eggs Benedict , fresh salmon , pastries !

Grab welcome water (the delicious pineapple/citrus water at the entrance) every chance you get! Aloha!

Look the place is beautiful and the staff is great. Location is tops. But remember this is not WDW. Plan things to do, and save money by doing it without going through Aulani. Hiking is almost free :)

Loved this resort ! The building is so authentic and magical!

Following the trail besides the ocean to the harbor is about 2.5 miles, stack 2 of them for 5 miles, beats running next to the road . Not too busy in the morning.

Amazing ocean views ....not just a great hotel but also a great place to have lunch on the ocean

Be sure to put ur head under water in the infinity pool & listen for the dolphin, whale. & volcano sounds

Parents ... Auntie's Beach House for the keiki is AMAZING -- and complimentary with your room. Your kids will never want to leave! Check out "open house" tour in a.m.!

Take the short drive to Kapolei for cheaper and more varied food choices (Zippy's, Pho , Julie'z Filipino, even Papa Jon's). There's also a convenient Target and Costco there.

The spa is wonderful. My 4 year old begs to get dropped off at Aunty's Beach House. The entire experience here is amazing.

Book the surfing excursion! Great team to help you. It is highly likely that you will catch a wave in the first 10 minutes on the water! Worth the cost.

Not a guest and want to visit? Valet your car here for 35 bucks for four hours. After spending 35 bucks on food or gifts , have your valet stub validated to waive parking fees. The sunset is amazing!

Gorgeous hotel , friendly and courteous staff . Disney never fails to amaze me. Poolside drinks are fabulous. Try to find the hidden mickeys and menenhune!

Non-guests can do a character breakfast if you call for a reservation 24 hours before the day you intend to visit. Get your parking validated!

A real good place for a late night live music with coffee is upstairs. Get a refillable coffee cup and sit on the far right (at the entrance) to oversee the music & pools

Great place for the kids but kinda far from everything else on the island

Eye spy menahunes (sp) but do you spy the animals in rock formations all around the resort ? Don't forget to check in the Rainbow Reef !

Food at the restaurants at the other hotels is lesser expensive with often the same view so spice up your stay and take a walk over the trail even if only to see all the pineapple trees

Hang out with "Uncle Waiola" at the night show, at storytelling and other activities at Aulani. He is the best! True local Hawaiian spirit!

Don't miss the "Aulani Starlit hui " great family show in the evening! Earlier in the evening "uncle" is by the firepit telling stories & playing his Ukulele

If you have a sweet tooth bit can't stand the Hawaiian shaved ice visit the teeny place for frozen yoghurt , at $6 it's not too bad of a deal, you don't need to be a teenager to like frozen yoghurt !

Lagoon hop by swimming across Aulani's, then walk across the grassy area to the next. Swim , walk, etc. Great workout and lots of fun!

Find a culture guide & learn a little about the Aulani design. Disney's attention to Hawaiian culture is beautiful!

Nice pool and beach . If your looking for nightlife, stay in Waikiki. Nothing in a 15 mile radius of this resort that stays open past 11 or 12.

Excellent choice for little ones too! Join the aunty beach kids club . Lot of activities.

Go to the beach and get a cold Mango Sangria . While laying down, take a look at the sea, relax.
