Soya beancurd is a good late night supper option for something light and smooth. Serves with golden syrup instead of just the usual clear type.
More tables & seats upstairs. Don’t be fooled by the limited seating in front of the shop at ground level. Buy ur food & drinks, & head upstairs 👍🏼
Beancurd ($1.50). Light, smooth, & aromatic. The shop’s hero product. Available warm or chilled. Whether dining in or taking away , it is served in a plastic container
Famous snacks in singapore for years. The price slightly up but the taste still consistent as their street food style. Try the uniqueness of taste if you put cakwe in their soy milk . #CulinarySG
Those who said this is the best has obviously never tasted taufufa in Malaysia before. The one outside my house in PJ taste better than this. I won't even wanna compare this with Funny Mountain
Portuguese egg tarts ($1.60 each). Enjoyed the snack including the burnt bits. One is not enough! 😂
Butterfly fritter ($1.20). Wasn’t impressed with their offering here. Not warm nor crispy on the outside
Great place for a late night snack . Secret room upstairs wasn't running the aircon when we were there.
The original bean curd . Great yew tiao, butterfly and han jing peng.
Great for a midnight beancurd extravaganza...with authentic Singapore ambience.
Egg Tart is not bad but pity that i missed having a chance to try sesame ball . At least it is not too sweet so if you are sweetooth, you may not like it much : )
Grass jelly drink is really cold and refreshing! Bean curd is on par with other Chinese restaurants
Don't come in the middle of the day: the beancurd is pre-scooped, sitting in syrup for longer, which means it gets way too sweet.
Always a great place for beancurd and soybean milk .
Best tau huay in Singapore, JB and some say Batam.
The only decent youtiao in SG. Aunty could be friendlier.
All the good things can be found here.
Try Beancurd City (500m away) instead. This beancurd is soft, but there is softer.
The food is great, but the services are very lousy. The China ladies t serving are very very rude. They shout at the customers Maybe the owners do not care as they are now very famous.
Best Dou Hua (Beancurd ) in town !
The beancurd and drinks are pretty decent. Nothin fanciful , a bit over hyped. The one next door is the same. But the foreign staff here is overwhelming
Great place to slack & grab a bowl of tau huay and dip in some crispy you tiao! Read more
Beancurd very smooth!! Must try!! But a bit sweet thou.
Doufu fries ...nice.. A bit like Taiwan "Chou dou Fu臭豆腐" without the smelly smell... Very soft inside!!$2.50 must try!
The shop beside this have good tau huay too! You tiao ftw!
My fav n the original tow hway stall since my NAFA years since 1991. Tow hway as smooth as silk .
The beancurd was good but service sucked big time. The waitress kept asking us to give her back the tray even though we haven't finished eating yet.
There's a very nice Japanese grill restaurant next door. Affordable and great tasting :)
The best!!! Try the butterfly and my freaking favorite tau huay!!!! Add more sweet syrup !
a warm bowl of tauhuey & youtiao just does it for me on a cold rainy night
Fantastic ! Hahas . Love the bean curd and butterfly bun .
Must try their you tiao...its soft n crispy !! Awesome ...
Everytime I come here, makes me think of a song: JJ Lin's 豆浆油条
Long queue as always but service is always fast
Very silky and soft.. Worth the money despite the attitude.. :3
One of the best beancurds arnd. Get the "butterfly " also!
Open till late for the supper fans. There's air-con if you head up the stairs
Best butterfly I've ever tasted.Too bad the egg tart is not cooked yet
Hot beancurd + Glass jelly drink! *Yums! <3
Standard drop..... bean curd too sweet and not smooth enough
The beancurd dessert is awesome... ask for less syrup so you won't increase your risk of diabetes...
Love the beancurd . Though the sugar syrup is a lil too much.
been here thrice this week and it still gets me craving for more beancurd !!!!!
This soya beancurd is overhyped and overrated. But the worst is when customers need to tolerate the stinking attitude of the serving staff who yells at us for ordering too much. WTF!
Don't wear long sleeve/thick clothing here. Very stuffy.
You have to eat it with you tiao. Fantastic!
I luv the smooth hot beancurd n egg tarts here...yummy
cold taohuay $1.20
Famous for their beancurd and youtiao .
The beancurd here is not as nice as i expect it to be..
