The best cocktail bar . If you have a reservation you'll be able to walk in with no problem, otherwise you might have to wait a bit upstair. Although they have the kindest bouncer I have ever met...

I am NOT surprised that this is the no.1 cocktail bar in London according to the users of Foursquare! The drinks are amazing as well as the staff and quirky theme!

Amazing atmosphere, great music . Don’t underestimate how unique the cocktails may be there. I barely drunk mine, it was super spicy (I ordered it ignoring the waiter who insisted that I shouldn’t )

Amazing jazz music but they don’t let more people than they can sit at tables so either make sure you get a reservation or be prepared to wait in the cold 30 or so minutes to get in.

More trendy than actually good :/ Gorgeous interior & the live jazz is great, but be warned - a ton of tables can't see the musicians . Cocktails are presented beautifully but aren't balanced drinks.

Amazing venue, amazing drinks. Cocktail prices are okay. It’s a great spot for a date! But they will charge you £10 per person for ….? “weekend cover” which is insane.

All cocktails are made with attention to detail. Some have a very fancy presentation too. Live music and online booking are definitely a plus. Friendly service and nice atmosphere.

Speakeasy bar-A small sign of a nightjar in front door, stairs going downstairs and you get into a new world. Relaxed crowd (not standing allowed),live music and amazing cocktails .Booking essential.

Loved the cocktails and the atmosphere. Bartenders make great concoctions . Staff at the door could turn down the attitude a bit - you don't need to be hostile to be trendy . Will definitely return.

Stylish but yet laid back underground speakeasy cocktail bar with live acts. Menu is huge! One of my fabs: Double - barred zombie! Needs to be booker well in advance!

Let's be honest: Nightjar is not the neighbourhood bar you drink at every other day. That said, you don't eat at The Fat Duck every day either. Head on down and marvel at the theatre of your drink.

Amazing place. Very fancy cocktails . Some are a bit experimental but it's worth to explore. Book ahead otherwise you have to wait a bit. Great live music as well . Try Forager's Shrub.

Fantastic bar , though pricey and tough to get in weekend nights. Exotic ingredients, unlike almost any others in NYC or London. Well worth a visit for cocktail enthusiasts.

This is the most classy club I've ever been to. Awesome live jazz music with awesome cocktails . Try the youkshire punch if you gone with a group, it's served with a steaming owl (literally)

Forget Purl, Worship Street, 69 Colebrook etc - is this the best cocktail spot in London. Creative drinks , wonderful service and great prices backed up by excellent live music . A must visit!

Nestled between two cafes , the Nightjar is a slice of old school glamour in Shoreditch. This low-lit den serves cocktails from the pre-prohibition era to modern signatures, and hosts live music .

Great for fancy cocktails . Sometimes they look better then they taste but hey — they look amazing. Try one of the tee pots if you are in a group.

I've checked all the recommended by social media bars in town . This is by far the best one. The perfect combination of experience, cocktails and service. Ask for the The Nightjar playing cards.

Adopting Art Deco in place of a prohibition "speakeasy " style common to 1920's themed cocktail bars , the Night Jar offers live era music , creative drinks and a mature clientele. Worth a visit.
