5月に訪れて、薔薇 がちょうど見頃でとても綺麗でした。すこし暑い日だったのですが、敷地の手前から木々がトンネル を作っていて、なんとも心地よい涼しさを与えてくれました。

談話室南側のベランダ は日陰で夏でも涼しく気持ちいい。ヨットが浮かぶ海の眺めも最高。

長谷の喧騒から離れて、海を臨みながら芝生の上でくつろぐ贅沢。

鎌倉の別荘建築 を代表する建物です。三島由紀夫の小説『春の雪』の一舞台ともなりました。

庭からの建物の景色 が、美しい。

様々な薔薇 が育てられていて綺麗。庭から海を望む景観も見る価値あり。

車は文学館内に入れません。

江ノ電1日乗車券を見せると入館料が50円引き。

チケット売り場横に駐輪場があります。
