Great food and friendly service , don't believe the negative post.. If you are looking for an alternative to Äppler try Krug-Bräu, great dark beer from a Frankish micro brewery

Make a reservation on the weekend. Especially if more than 2 people. Eat Frankfurter Schnitzel or other local food. Drink Apfelwein (sauer gespritzt) and enjoy Mispelchen as desert .

Solid German and Hessisch food. The Schnitzel was decent, but the Hessisch cuisine (green sauce , apple Wein, etc.) are the real stars here.
