Solid pourover coffees from Portland's Stumptown (now owned by Pete's Coffee as of Oct. 2015). Pastries from local bakeries are middling/average in quality, but decent if you have a sweets craving
One of the few places you can get Stumptown coffee beans to go in Boston. Check the roast date on the bags though because they’re always as fresh as you might expect.
This cafe with a unique, chic vibe serves up Portland-based Stumptown Coffee - named the best coffee in the world by both NPR & the "New York Times." Try the create-your-own grilled cheese & pastries . Read more
Coffee is good, the pastries are delicious and salads too! Try the Bostonian Cream cake , a latte and some pasta salad , my fav! The place is nice with cool music . Somehow they don’t offer WiFi .
Love this place! One of the quieter cafes along Hanover street, it has great coffee and an amazing vibe to the place. Try iced latte and oh, the siphon experience at the brew bar is a must!
2nd locale after Emerson. Front window seating ; great newspapers under glass top tables. Scrumptious full baked goods and dessert menu . Superb coffee and espresso drinks .
The Indonesian siphon coffee was delicious and cool to watch them brew! The hazelnut latte was good too and is made with real hazelnut .
Great interiors and a lot of healthy breakfast/lunch options. Definitely not in the $ range, the prices are rather $$. I like their coffee , though they tend to overheat the non-lactose milk :)
Some of the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Have never ventured out much on the menu, but the sandwich descriptions sound fancy enough. Customer service is better than most even when it's crowded .
Very good coffee . Friendly and helpful staff . Nice cakes too! (Tiramisu was very very good!) The place gets busy on coffee-times (after lunch ).
Great little neighborhood coffee shop . Yummy pastries . Like to go for coffee , snack , and people watch .
Amazing food & drink, calm and relaxing atmosphere , friendly staff . Would highly recommend as the best cafe in Little Italy!
Coffee is great, nice vibe. I got the ham and butter breakfast sandwich – it was a simple and delicious treat.
Yum. The coffee was great, but so was their Boston cream pie . I've never had one so good. Perfectly creamy and not too sweet.
This place is the ideal cafe . There is not a single deficiency, not a single thing that can be improved. Best chai I have ever had, and they have Nutella croissants .
Amazing matcha latte and I love that the menu has gluten-free and vegan options
Great place to chill with a cup of good coffee & a pastry . Nice atmosphere & friendly service , what more do you want?
Best coffee shop in Boston. Both locations a great, but this one in the North End is one of my favorite spots in Boston. Almond croissant !
Awesome place. Good coffee and a wide assortment of delicious pastries and sandwiches . Pour over method and Siphon are for the most avid coffee lovers.
Their single origin Stumptown espresso is kickass. You've been warned, unless you're a sadomasochist who relishes these opportunities. Music lovers prepare appropriately, they play Norah Jones.
The best hazelnut latte in Boston. They make a good matcha latte too!
If you don't get a hazelnut latte here, you're doing it all wrong! No syrup here- they grind actual hazelnuts for your latte ! Real ingredients- amazing!
Exceptional coffee , and drip is reasonably priced especially for location. Awesome atmosphere, really great pastries .
They've got great coffee and a quiet atmosphere . I sit here for hours and sketch or study.
Really good almond milk lattes and the best real chai tea lattes I've had on this side of the pond !
Besides the awesome choices for coffee , the service is amazing!!! Plus the sandwiches and food selection is great.
Wonderful little cafè on Hanover Street in the North End. Had the iced tea and it was great! Wish there was more tea and less ice though!
Great cappuccino , spacious interior , interesting decor. Good for working and for socialising
Smokin Jamaican sandwich is the best thing on earth. Bacon scones are also excellent…if you can get one!
Good coffee place , with good bakery options that's open until 10pm, but no wifi . Bummer.
Has a nice cozy ambiance ! You can enjoy your hazelnut latte with a slice of a delicious carrot cake !
Came here mid-afternoon on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of available seats. Prefer this location over their other ones on Newbury and Boston Commons.
If you're looking to sit and enjoy... This is the place. Lovely atmosphere, and no wifi . Welcome back to the real world.
You can get a cup of coffee via the siphon method, don't know what it is? Try it, it's a whole new level of coffee ... Delicious
Loved their cortado ! And the cookies (including the gluten free ) were the perfect pairing.
Incredible hazelnut latte !! They ground actual hazelnuts and pour the espresso on top. 😍
Get a grilled cheese (havarti ) with tomato and bacon on focaccia . Thanks me later #delicous
Get the Chai Latte . Hazelnut is made to perfection.
Got a great assortment of pastries like Boston cream pie , tiramisu , and fruit tart .
Ridiculously expensive . The hazelnut latte had chunks in it that made it taste like you were drinking coffee with grinds. The almond croissant was delicious, though-- think it had a layer of marzipan !
a lot more seating available here compared to other locations. but just as awesome
Loved the roasted chicken sandwich , but for coffee I like Cafe Vittoria
A nice and quiet place on an otherwise busy street.
It’s an okay coffee place . A bit noisy . For a heavy coffee drinker, loads of milk for any cup coffee . Would ask for double shot for everything.
Coffee is good, surprised at how great the lunch and baked goods are. Macaroons !
The hazelnut latte is amazing, either hot or iced
Coffee ! Barista is taking photos of coffee — likes his work so much :) Lack of electrical outlets
Name seems like it would be a great place to study but there is no wifi
Stumptown espresso with good breakfast sandwich options. Decent overall.
Crowded as always but love the big bowl of oatmeal with banana in the morning!
Great coffee and awesome employees! So far best coffee place I've been to on this trip. - Celeste M.
Elegant space and some of the best pour overs you'll find in Boston. Prices are steep at $6 - Sebastien Latapie
Cannolis, cheesecake, brownies, whatever you get, it's gonna be fantastic! Just make sure you have cash! - Amanda Whitten
My favorite spot in Boston for fresh seafood -- make sure to try any of the specials, especially if they have Nantucket bay scallops - ᴡ Benedict
Perfect ambiance in Boston! Must see place! Great seafood! Try out the Clam Chowder, delicious creamy soup with seafoid👍👍👍 - Hazar Candan
