A bit kitschy , but the quickest and best way to get to the top of Mt San Jacinto from Palm Springs. It's a little pricey for what it is, but the floor rotates! Neat! Also not far from downtown PSP.
Talk to Sean at the lounge , he mixes good drinks and has advice on dinner options.
While your here and probably hurting from the night b4 why not have a Bloody Mary . The mix is house made and is delicious.
Red Trolley Red Alley tastes great after hiking
Lots of tourists on weekends. Come during week for less noise and more ambiance. Also, cafeteria is NOT for picky eaters- choose Peaks Restaurant instead (better food).

The Smoked Gouda Mac-n-cheese with pulled pork is really rich and quite good! The 8oz filet was incredibly tender and nicely presented. Desserts are pre-fab but nice. - Michael Erb
