Oak Mountain State Park

We spent part of our family reunion here this year and it is great. Lakes and barbecues and all kinds of activities. I can see why this is a popular place up here.

Wonderful place for the whole family! The cabins are minimal but just right considering all the outdoor fun!!! Loved drinking coffee on the front porch swing then casting off the pier for hours!

Trail , hiking and biking . The beach is excellent when it is warmer

swim bike run hike , you name it - Oak mtn has tons to do here - 20 miles of single track - nice roads for some road biking - noce hiking , lake for swimming and fishing

Head up to peavine falls! The view is amazing. And if the water is nice, you can walk in the water.

Sucks having to park and carry everything to the camp site... Wish you could park BESIDE your stuff.
