Favorite bar in Palo Alto. Best beer selection on town . Has good pub food and darts as well .

Probably the only pub in Palo Alto deserving of this name, great beers . Can be packed, and also they (or I should say the city ) don't allow drinking outside after 8 or 9 or so, so plan accordingly.

Great beer selection and outdoor seating . Not too much else around in Palo Alto to get that kind of experience. Lots of nerds. The fried fish looks good.

One of the few rare places in Palo Alto where you can get properly drunk, though that's grading on a bit of a curve

Avoid the after 10 PM crowd on Fridays and the weekend—noisy and crowded . Show up closer to 7 PM and enjoy a much more relaxed atmosphere where it's easier to talk.
