its cheap , but imho does not worth it... for example, the fruit soup is horrible...

Visit the place willing to save your money. Otherwise stay away... 8,4 grade seemingly too high.

Stupidly cheap but also of no quality whatsoever

This is a gem of a find if you are looking for excellent home cooked meal , fast service at cheep prices. Stayed in Budapest for 5 weeks and ate there at least 4 times a week throughout my stay.

This five-star hash house provides a wide variety of cheap and tasty belly-filling dishes, an old school atmosphere, and a spacious interior characterized by retro table linens and murals .

Nice traditional food but the service was BRUTAL. For one moment, thought about leaving without even trying anything. If you're up cheap hungarian food with no good manners, that's the place.

When I was there the waiter was rude so I left without ordering.

The selection covers mostly freshly fried things, vegetable sauces and home-made cakes but the daily (!) renewed menu contains some more modern dishes, too.

Great typical hungarian food . Beef goulash is very good. One appetizer , 2 main dishes, drinks and a desert costed like 11€. Recommended.

The daily menu is available in english on request - no worries if you don't speak hungarian :)

Very cheap and good quality. Salad Papa likes is excellent. Ready dishes are great. Try kings pancake , it's a bomb. All this together is 5€. Best buy award! :)

Food was Ok (suspicious fast) but because of the rough waiters not recommended. Poor vegetarian options , hopefully foreign guests wont remember as traditional Hungarian dishes..

Should you look for 100% Hungarian (beyond guylas), go here. All is authentic . Very different for a Belgian :)

Very cheep place with good food. Dont order king pancake its 1 small pancake with cheese and appricot jam covered with 1 falcon cream :)

Not impressed. We tried a soup (can't remember the name), meatloaf , fried chicken and the chicken paprika and thought it was all okay.

They don't accept card , you can pay with € but their exchange rate is not good and they give your change back in local currency. Food is good an cheap , but I thing you can find something better.

Place looks like a kind of cantine. But food is national, cheap and taste. They have menu in russian and english. You should pay on the first floor
