A lesson of the culture of Amsterdam and also Netherlands . Friendly people like many others in this wonderful city . A little far from downtown, but we enjoyed a lot.
A really good place to visit. The tour is excellent and the windmill charming. There is a very interesting museum of coopery as well
Mill-traveler. It was moved several times, and placed on its current location in 1814. It has a cafe/pub, with terrace , which is pleasant to visit especially on warm evenings.
The Sloten Windmill is one of the very few mills in Amsterdam that is open to the public. Still working, this attraction also offers guided tours . Opens at 10 am.
