Many different types of historical things found here. Something for everyone. Great interactive displays so kids have fun while learning. Nice gift shop with many SC state items for sale. Clean & safe

Great museum , has enough interactions for children as well . Good for all ages, I love museums and would really enjoy coming back.

The fourth floor displays Civil War swords, guns, and artifacts , along with a full-size replica of the CSS Hunley and a copy of the Ordinance of Secession.

Artista Vista 2012: Abstract Art in S.C 1949-2012, Congaree Art Festival - works of art from more than 40 S.C. painters & sculptors over the past 63 years.

The Space Science Gallery features a space suit worn during training by Astronaut Duke on Apollo 16, several instruments that were used on the moon, and an historic Fitz telescope built in 1849. Read more
