English Landing Park

Great place to enjoy a summer (and spring or fall, winters pretty cool, too) afternoon. Biking , play areas , walking, fishing from the bank . Bring a picnic lunch and/or explore Parkville.

The three-mile crushed limestone trail loops around the soccer and baseball fields , past the playground and band shelter, never with the powerful Missouri River more than a few feet away.

Large fenced dog park with separate areas for large and small dogs opened this week.

Make sure to go leave the park and go up the stairs at Park University . Then go past the library and up the gravel path to the lookout. Absolutely stunning panoramic view of the Missouri River .
