A bit disappointed over the service and quality - it is to much resort and to little recognition for top tier HHonors members. Overall the place is huge and location perfect.
Great hotel overall... Definitely see the penguin/turtles (we missed this the first time we were here). Morimoto is a short walk down the beach , get breakfast there. ABC Store is great for snacks/food
Firework show every Friday!! Beautiful!!! The luau in the hotel is not that great! Try paradise cove for a luau! Food and show a lot better!! They pick u up at the hotel and drop u off as well
Love this place we come here each time we are in waikiki. The beach lagoon is the best to relax and there is always a show o two on during the day or night at the pools.
Def enjoyed our stay here. Totally has a resort feel without making you feel stuck as it's easy to go out to explore Waikiki & Oahu. A LOT of families though so beware if you're looking for peaceful .
If you plan on coming to Waikiki, you must stay at this resort ! It's an oceanfront village in itself, full of all dining and shopping venues you need. And what a wonderful welcome from the hotel staff
If you're going to paddleboard, highly recommended, go down the beach a short ways rather than in the Hilton lagoon . Is only $12 there as opposed to $30 at the Hilton and you'll be in open water!
Awesome place. Spent the last 5 days of honeymoon here. No shortage of dining or drinking options and it's right on the beach .
I love this hotel , definetly one of my favorite one in the island , buy snacks in ABC store is cheaper. Lagoon is pretty. Well located not quiet in the middle of Waikiki but close enough.
The restaurants from the hotel its so expensive , its better (price&cuality) take out The food.If you dont have Many hungry The ABC store is The best option. And The service if this hotel is no so good
is my home and I love it, but it has become much too popular lately with the tourists who at least go back to Waikiki at night. Please be respectful of the folks who live here and Aloha..
Steps from the beach ❤️ lots to see and do in the resort and surroundings! It can get busy on, but service is always on point, be patient. Paradise doesn’t come cheap , plan accordingly and have fun!
This resort is a real gem. The grounds are endless, as are the activities and the selection of shops and restaurants . It’s really several hotels (towers) in one with something for every taste.
There is a lot to do and is really good for relaxing and a has a great view . There is also great entertainment.
Great resort that I would highly recommend to anyone. Excellent staff , rooms and pools along with a variety of restaurants . You really never have to leave the complex.
Great hotel and on the beach ! The only thing is I thought I would get a robe. ???? Rooms were clean , bar was stocked, restaurant had good food, and they had live entertainment. Great value .
Went here last year for the first time, stayed here for 10 days???????? ????☀️❤️ best place to stay at???????? the view from 29th floor was amazing????
ABC store is where it's at to save money! Also, some people will give you their rented umbrellas and chairs, do the same back. Expect long lines for checkin. Enjoy the rest of the island and GET OUT.
The balconies in Tapa tower rooms are wide and have a screen you can cover the open door with so you can enjoy the cool Hawaiian breeze without worrying about mosquitoes.
The resort is beautiful and big! Our family vacation is nice with big suites. Plenty of restaurants , multiple pools, tons of beach front .
Beautiful hotel ! Has everything you may need including shops and a Starbucks! Plenty of free activities too
Absolutely wonderful to stay at. Great pool and wonderful breakfast restaurants right by the beach as well as a pool bar .
Long lines at front desk, even with status. Make sure you milk everything from the $25 per day resort fee. Parking is $27/day. Great hotel for families, not as nice for ladies trips or pure R&R.
Although I'm a local resident I enjoy visiting the resort and shopping boutiques in the village . Watch Friday night fireworks near the lagoon .
Lots of activities (free and paid) and sights (penguins, flamingos). We love this resort and the proximity to Waikiki shopping. (Ala Moana Center, International Market Place, etc.)
imagine this place in the 60s... ! but now its faded and a bit decaying. the village needs upgrading. still quite massive!
Make your own mixed drinks by buying alcohol at the ABC store . It will save you a bundle :-)
IHOP is right across the street! Get 10% off discount card from the nearest Hilton concierge ! IHOP also offers free Wi-Fi service!
Beautiful resort ! Float out in ocean & watch for turtles pop their heads up! But it is rocky so bring by your water shoes !
The lagoon is just awesome. Try the free wifi jnternet when you are nearby
Love our ocean and city view from the Kalia Tower and highly recommend staying here! Starbucks in the lobby too.
Threr are 4 water slides and good for kids to play. The depth of pool under the bridge is a little bit deep (5 ft).
My favorite place to stay in Waikiki! The ice cream place ROCKS! The stores ROCK!! So much to do & super safe for teenagers to roam!
Would definitely recommend doing the sunset cocktail cruise . Great views , nice pupus and drinks. Very relaxing!
Rainbow tower is the one closest to the beach . Oceanfront rooms have an amazing view of waikiki beach and the diamond head
Make sure you check at the Information desk at the Ali'i tower... you'll get a free tote bag (cheap , but great for the beach ) and a coupon book with some good deals around the village .
Views from the rooms are absolutely incredible. Love the shopping area, lots and lots of tourists here.
Do not bring anything with you everything is available here! Travel light
Absolutely crowded even during low-season, You pay extra $45 per night for rental DVDs (sic) and discounts in the complex. What? You also pay $10 to handle your packages. Old furniture , no charm...
Nice resort and right on the beachfront, a little too commercial though
Beautiful resort !! Huge! Good restaurants on the site. Beautiful views ...
If you need more towels without using the towel card, there are free towels at the pool on the fourth floor of the Kalia tower .
Great location on a private stretch of Waikiki beach . Rooms were comfortable . Good facilities. Check in was a bit slow.
Try dipping your toes in the pool. It's quite refreshing! But don't over do it.
Whole Foods is at the Kahala Center mall for all you crunchy folk (like my wife and me). Just 30 minutes by bus , or 10 minutes by car.
Sit outdoors& enjoy live entertainment while watching the sun set at tropics bar.coconut shrimp is fantastic
Queue at a check-in counter is too long. Especially only one staff works at general check in counter. So guests have to wait more than 30 minutes. Unbelievable !
Don't forget to register your Village Experience Card at the concierge to get some discounts & freebies at the shops here. You also get a cheap Hilton beach tote.
My room was decorated by Liberace, and I'm so glad he chose to include a PS3 for my entertainment. Thanks Liberace, sorry you're dead.
Indeed the Rainbow tower has a great view . But it can be noisy due to the music coming from the bar facing the tower.
We loved it here for the ambiance and easy transition from beach or pool to meal. It is reasonably priced compared to other Hawaiian Village eateries. - Julia Porter
Amazing views and condo style rooms (with PS4's- not that you'd want to stay in the room much). Quick access to both great beaches and shopping. - Clayton Bryan
Escape the busy Waikiki Beach here. It's like a pool with sand. - Jessica Berges
Very expensive to rent chairs and umbrellas!!! The paddle boat fun made up for that. - JoAnna Boylan Castellano
Hungry? Grab a quick bento box at Shirokiya - 白木屋. It's delicious, fast and super inexpensive. - Sukhjit Ghag
Casual poolside bar and grill. Nice Mai Tais and a decent happy hour deal. Live music in the evenings and generally a very nice atmosphere. - Paddy
