Aquincum

Fantastic museum about the Roman history of Budapest. Contains several remains of the settlement.

When the Roman Empire stretched across Europe, much of what we now call Hungary was part of its Pannonia province, and Aquincum was the capital city of this colonial domain.

Hidden gem . A 2000 year old city buried in a lesser known part of Budapest definitely worth checking out.

This historical ground tells the story about the gloriousness of the roman empire in a far out part in the empire.

Muzeum has interactive programs, staff is friendly , ruins are Roman :-) Worth visiting.

Please don't come here. It's not worth the trip. There's so much else to see in budapest and there's nothing really here.
