This place is amazing. Drink and eat as much as you can. Charming. Don't be afraid to find a way to squeeze into the tiny space.
Izakaya with yakitori . Friendly and convivial
39 to 45rmb lunch set is a deal breaker. My favorite lunch place these days
Japanese italian style food. Small portions is great for more selection
Cold soba with sesame and perilla
Thai ground meat in lemongrass set for lunch is nice
This sake is dangerously tasty!
Really good inari . Excellent authentic small eats. Must book to get a spot in this quaint little Japanese joint.
I can eat their Thai style fried rice every meal every day
Agedashi tofu is a must order dish!
Best Japanise cuisine in town !
You can also request the miso soup to be served in a large bowl !

Terrific food, affordable prices , so-so decor, confusing menu. And free wifi ! I'll definitely be back.
Sake is pretty much all I remembered and good.
Bankura used to be upstairs, I don’t think this is the same place anymore. Smells like sewer. All food, including beer totally tasteless. Avoid!
In Bankura we trust!
Oh dear, their Vietnamese Spring Rolls rock !!
Cute sausages
长期痴迷的一家小日本料理店,荞麦面更是其中一绝~
Make reservations. And get the pork belly, chicken wings, flavored sochu... The beef tongue is too chewy - bobi sheng
Why have all the good Japanese restaurants in downtown Shanghai closed or become bad? It's a soba-ing thought that we have to travel to Gubei for such a delightful meal. - Sammy6000
Just everything. The food is good, the drinks are good, the service is great, the place has a nice, friendly vibe... one of my regular go-to spots. - Yannick Boucher
Cosy little bar with Mojitos in Red, White and Black... And a friendly Japanese boss :) - Joyce
The Japanese snack is so yummy, don't hesitate to ask for one more plate. 80ish CNY per drink. - Lian
