You can't go wrong with a plain slice ($3), but if you're looking for something extra special and aren't scared of huge chunks of meat, the sausage pizza here is the stuff of the Gods. Read more
Awesome vibe. Open since 1959. Would call the pizza “really good” and not amazing myself but the style is awesome, crazy mesh on the tomato and the cheese
Classic slices, perfect calzones and an Italian family feel that takes you back!
The best deep fried calzone(I get mine with fresh sausage ) in the Bronx! The thin crispy pizza is awesome. If you're in the area don't miss this treasure!
Head to this venerable Bronx Italian restaurant for gracefully topped thin crust pizzas . The white pizza is a customer favorite, but Slice guru Adam Kuban recommends the sausage-topped pie. Read more
Another good thing about this pizza joint; since its partially below da sidewalk ground, da temp is cool. That's a + on hot humid NY summer days. AND there is a cool backyard like area outside to chow
One of the best white slices you can get. Garlic , ricotta , fresh mozzarella , just perfect.
Everyone said to get a sausage slice , and boy were they right! I don't usually like sausage but it is excellent at Louie & and Ernie's. Definitely recommend trying other toppings too
Quick-talking waitresses and an abundance of Yankee caps on customers' heads fill out the family atmosphere . The plain slice is among the city 's best, floppy and oily and bursting with flavor. Read more
Great sausage here from a local place in the neighborhood . Big, juicy, fennel-flecked chunks. Good white pizza too. Get a sausage pie whole, so the cheese melts around the meat and it stays on the pie
"The place has been run by brothers Cosimo and Johnny Tiso since 1987, and the pizziaolo duo are masters at whipping up the perfect paper-thin crust."
After several visits, I think it's time to boldly state : best pizza in the five boroughs. There. I said it.
Pizza here is absolutely fantastic. Get the sausage pizza , it's out of this world!
