Doesn't just provide Marine History, it provides World history, U.S. history and Military history all rolled into one. Super interactive and visually stimulating throughout every exhibit . Awesome!
Plan to spend at least a couple of hours, and definitely tour with one of the Docents . There are a ton of wonderful exhibits to see. The food in the tavern is pretty good too - try the fried pickles
If you are at all patriotic this place is a must see! Very educational to see the chronological order of the Marines from 1775 on; evokes nearly every sense. Spent 3 hours & could have used 3 more.
The museum itself is laid out kinda weird and confusing, but it's still really cool. For $10 you can hit an indoor shooting range; get 100% and get a discount for the diner on site.
The museum uses all the best in modern techniques to make you learn and almost experience history. The tableau of Marines facing Mao 's army on the next ridge in Korea almost takes you there in 1950.
Fantastic exhibits , and knowledgeable docents . Dining options aren’t the best, but certainly convenient.
You could spend a full day here. The stories on the walls are inspiring and sobering. So much bravery and sacrifice. I found the Vietnam War section really interesting.
This is, hands-down, the best museum I have ever been to. Amazing exhibits ! Make sure to talk with the staff . They have great insight.
This is easily the best museum ever. It spans generations. I highly recommend the Rifle Range experience. I loved teaching my daughter the history of my Marine Corps.
One word SPECTACULAR. Best history museum ever. I hope they will fix the map soon...
Fantastic must see. Great tribute for the Marines.
Fantastic exhibits . Expect to spend several hours and multiple trips to take it all in.
