Such a beautiful, affordable , educational way to spend the day! So many great animals and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable ! We have an incredible time every visit!
Best Zoo in the Northeast! You can almost touch a giraffe ! There's a super awesome tree fort with a little kid water play area . The park itself is awesome and beautiful too. Worth the long ride.
Very well laid out zoo . During October the zoo is decorated with Jack o lanterns to give it a very seasonal feel. Great children's area.
Terrific zoo . Well laid out with a diverse range of wildlife and experiences. Great for families or couples at all times of the year. A wonderful community asset.
A very new exciting part is the "nature swap " section to the zoo which is keeping the boy's wanting to come back every day for the rest of their summer... Not the worst thing for our junior explorers!
A small but nice zoo in Providence. The most cool part is the petting zoo , all the goats there want to be petted ???? loved it!
Love the Jack O'Lantern spectacular. Best night to go is Tuesday night for the AAA discount .
The zoo is mildly depressing. Small pens, little stimulation for the animals. The kids will love the Hasbro tree house! No big cats, no polar bears . Try Southwick's!
Inexpensive zoo with a great variety of animals. Lots of fun for visitors of all ages.
I was in awe at the giraffe and elephant building. Lovely zoo , awesome paths.
Great place to bring the family. Make sure to buy the family or regular membership it pays for itself after 2 visits
I saw many more animals around this time than any other zoo in Boston. Not too big. The tropical section building where the bats are smells a lot.
Pretty organized and nice zoo . There are also plenty of shades from the sun.
Have kids pack there own backpack with food and drink...it is what it is........... Kause...Hunger. Affect....$50.00................Happy Easter friend me at Qeaglesri on FB for the real deal!!!
Such a great Zoo ! A wonderful place to walk through and a lot of variety for the whole family.
http://www.rogerwilliamsparkzoo.org/jols/index.cfm The Great Jack-o-Lantern walk is full of great pumpkin art focused on a history theme. The wait is a bit long so bring something to entertain the fam
seems like they have more stuff than animals half of the exhibit are empty so much room for more animals much rather go to buttonwood, Franklin, and south wick at least they have monkey, lions, tigers
Very clean & children friendly
Always travel with extra bread on hand to stop by and feed the geese . Not all RI parks allow you to feed the wildlife . Good, cheap fun...
The pumpkin spectacular was cool, but chaotic. Parents not controlling their kids, people not following the rules, people openly smoking... truly tragic. Worth most of the struggle.
Nice enclosures and grounds. Fantastic children's area.
Every first Saturday of the month is free for all RI residents
Pretty cool place! New tree house needs more regulations....way too many older kids there! Maybe a 10 and under ....
Get the membership. Well worth it. Zookeeper for family of six
Cheep!! Love it!
The Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular is very impressive if you have never seen it. Bring something to keep the kids entertained in line prior to the event .
If you bring bread to feed the geese don't throw the empty bag on the ground when you're done! I saw a duck get one wrapped around itself and it drowned. Pick up your trash.
Best zoo around ! Great time! Just don't wear flip flops
Look for reduced or free admission passes at your local library kids department before going
The geese are very gentle and can be hand fed bread . Please do not leave your trash behind. Teach your children well .
Small but fun and filled with cool creatures.
Try to visit on weekdays for Jack o lantern ...on weekends expect a min 1 hour traffic jam for parking ..
Really fun zoo , lots of walking
Great time for the whole family
Cleanest zoo ive ever been too. No lions tho.
Feeding the giraffe . Worth the extra money.
Jack-o-lantern spooktacular
Love the cheetah exhibit !
Brew at the Zoo was awesome this year.
Jack o lanternnspectacular. We love it.
Great place to bring the little ones!
If you want to see depressed animals in tiny "pens" make sure to visit this zoo !
Go to Roger Williams Zoo and make sure you wear good walking shoes :)
Precious! Love this zoo .
The elephants are the cuttest
The pumpkin walk is the coolest
Cute zoo , great day trip.
Go in the off season
Enjoying the zoo with my peanut but there's no giraffe 's or elephants today :-)
