Good food, friendly staff . Dog-friendly (the owners have their own dog). Great to have a local like this where they get to know you as regulars as well as making everyone feel welcome.

They hold pub quizzes and other events regularly, great place :-) The regular pub quiz is on a Wednesday night, and is very busy, so tables will be booked early.

If you want a Sunday Roast in the evening on a Sunday, you have to pre-book them and they will hold it for you.

I was here yesterday. They have this offer going on at the moment. 2 mains and a bottle of house wine for 20 pounds. It was really nice!
