Made famous in the movie , Dazed and Confused, this drive in burger joint is as local as it gets. The grill is so seasoned with age that you probably could make anything cooked on taste amazing.

You can truly taste the difference - these are cooked on a charcoal grill ! Onion rings are soaked overnight so they are exceptionally crispy and tasty.

New ownership has updated the menu with fried okra and green beans , but otherwise Top Notch is a local fast food restaurant still frozen in time – and that's why we love it. Get the Longhorn special.

Quick and cheap good food. Loved the cheese burger and fries . The burgers are more towards the well done side though.

Got fried chicken on my first visit and I can't bring myself to order anything else. Best fried chicken I've ever had! Go to Friday movie nights during the summer.

I was born and raised in Austin (third generation) and hands down Top Notch is the best place for a burger and fries . I love the vintage feel!

The veggie burger is pretty good. The fries were great. The lunches are the perfect amount of food. Not too stuffed.

It's so cool to go to an old school drive in, unfortunately that's the only upside to this place. The burgers are alright and the okra lacked flavor. Nice experience though!

They take a while to make your food, took about 25 mins for me, DON'T COME HERE DURING YOUR LUNCH BREAK IF YOU'RE ON A TIME CONSTRAINT
