Pompieri Pizza

Authentic Italian-style pizza with interesting ingredients like pork belly . They don't cut it, and instead you get scissors -- which I really like!

This is my favorite pizza place in Durham. I usually get the Margherita but their meat specials are great too!

The Drunken Horse pizza (no horse meat) and mozzarella ball of yarn were both killer. These guys won't take to-go orders over the phone, but with a 900 degree pizza oven, your food won't take long.

I feel that they should put more toppings on the pizza . It comes out sad looking. Staff was nice although I feel they should be a little more flexible when it comes to customizing daily special pizza

Fountain pucks soda ! Awesome bartenders ! Kitchen staff was even friendly ! Awesome pizza !

I love their white pizza and arancini . Pork belly pizza is also pretty good.

If you can live without cheese on your pizza , the marinara is a must try! Naples would not approve (garlic on top?) but the flavors impress...

Pompieri Pizza is my favorite hands down.Best in N. Carolina. Must try this restaurant .

Pizza is yummy and they have specials for beer when you get to keep the glass.

The eggplant pizza was nice. Needs a larger amount of eggplant , or any toping on the pizza . And they use the salty sauce.

This is pretty much the best pizza I've ever had. Ever. And I've eaten Chicago deep dish .

Nope. Mainly the service was very slow (you have to queue and it doesn't move fast), especially if you're in a larger group. Drunken Horse was okay I guess, but don't take white pizzas ...

An aquaponic system is used in-restaurant to produce the basil for their pies. Big ups!

The sausage of the day was incredible. The sauce! The meat! Nums.

Good pizza but very limited choices. One salad dressing . They won't sub items on specialty pizzas or put certain items on make your own.

Cheese appetizers are from god, pizza is better than most.
