Washington Lake Park

Wonderfully spacious , & generally very serene unless an ampitheatre event is underway. The wooded trails are my favorite!They house surprisingly breathtaking forest scenery & fun findings

Tons of paved walking trails . Additionally, plenty of parking and play areas for the kiddos. And, the events held there are awesome!

Be on the lookout for the pond hidden in one of the nature trails (behind the big, open pond near the big pavilion). There's even a small stream back there if you can find it.

Great dog park . Separate fenced-in areas for small dogs 30 lbs and under, and larger dogs over 30 lbs with tons of trees to sniff and other doggy butts to sniff (for your dog, that is!)

Good question...why do they have lights for every court but the hockey rink ?

Pedestrians and joggers should use extra caution near the road & crosswalks. Although the 15 mph speed limit is clearly posted throughout the park , drivers rarely drive under 25 mph.

I noticed that someone mentioned letting dogs run here, but the Township doesn't allow dogs on any of the parks . Be aware- they WILL ticket you.

Nice place to run/walk. Great trails . Bathrooms could use better upkeep.
