Very fast. Came in on 777 and passport control cleared with almost no wait.
If you're a non-EU citizen but Spain resident, tuck your NIE into your passport to speed the process along.
When leaving passport control head upstairs using elevator and avoid the several flights of escalators.

Horrible experience. Long lines , lousy signage, no personnel to assist. Constant fear you’ll miss connections. Avoiding Iberia because of passport control alone.
