Super soft hot-dog bun , tasty sausage - that was one perfect hot-dog! Not very friendly staff though - but it's okay since you just buy your food and leave or go to the side :)
Possibly the best sausage in Vienna. Don't be put off because it says "hot dogs ". If you're American get the grillwurst - it's bratwurst . The bratwurst here is a much longer thinner sausage . 10/10.
One of Vienna's most famous and elegant hot dog stands (Würstelstand) right next to the Opera building. Lots of celebrities and decent sausages .
I mean make sure that you stop at this local sausage buffet and eat a classical sausage with a Weiss bier . It is delicious, it is cheap and it is totall local.

Käserkrainer ... a cheese filled wurst that tastes great is what I recommend. Get it with spicy mustard and/or horseradish if you dare.
Nice little sausage stand - fun staff working there. Go for a “Käsekrain er mit Bier ” for a late night snack .
Kasekrainer&curry wurst 👌👌👌a very good option after opera with a bottle of Moet..☺

best wurst I have had so far
hands down for the käsekrainer “sausage with cheese”.
They weren’t friendly , but no shortchanging (per other comments) and the sausages were great.
Great käsekrainer to devour when drunk, but you already knew that.
It’s open on Sundays, when so little else is.
My go-to place for a late-night käsekrainer .

Nice sausage , but terribly expensive or like other comments we were ripped off, unable to read prices. 1 sausage in bun , and 2 sausages on their own plus a Stiegl Weisse beer .....€26!

This is the guy who tries to short change you. Beware if you look like a tourist ! Once I caught him out, he acted blasé and very rude. Tip: count your change in front of him. Tldr: go elsewhere
The smoked sausage , with a mound of horseradish , is a must!

Don't give your money to this guy. He is a pig ! Abused us because we don't speak German. And I've had much better hot dogs elsewhere, so don't understand why everyone goes here anyway?
Hot dogs are pretty good but the staff are thieves. Tried to get away with scamming me by giving me less change. Count your change in front of him. Or better yet, go to another place.
Friend caught them out shortchanging him, maybe a mistake, fine. They then acted completely rude like we were out to get them, to myself and the other in our party. Wurst is average, but go elsewhere.

Very beautiful building, worth a visit. The tickets get sold out fast, so buy in advance. Standing tickets start to be sold 1h30min before the oper, the line gets really big. - Barbara Reis
Great park/garden for picnic at the weekend or for a drink after work, but probably only in the good weather. It is located in the heart of the city, and easily accessable. - Murat
