Amazing experience. One of the best things I saw in Mexico; right up there with Teotihuacan. If you love design/architecture, spend the extra $ for photography rights. I regret I didn't.

You are supposed to reserve ages in advance , but on my Spanish speaking tour , there were so many non-Spanish speakers that they split us in two and and took 8 extra people with out reservations

As the name suggests, this was the home of this famous architect. It is one of my favorite places to go – the interaction between space and color makes it unique.

This famous mexican arquitectural masterpiece mixes popular culture with mediterranean arquitecture. You can watch the temporal expos that it holds, froms sculture to photography .

In case your guide doesn't mention it... Ask what's under the curtain in the back garden . You'll be pleasantly impressed (although you're likely to be feeling so anyways).

Guided tour was just as interesting as the architecture . Worth paying for the "photograph " fee.

They charge $500 pesos if you want to take pictures of the space. Which is a great idea... If they're trying to keep this place a secret.

This place manages to be pretentious as hell. Don't let your faux-mystery ruin your art . And dont be a dick to visitors by making them wait over an hour to maybe potentially get in. Ya im mad.

A must for architecture fans. Barragán created intensity by distilling color and structure , like the intensely pink wall or the window whose shadow aligns with the wall opposite.

ABSOLUTAMENTE INCREICLE

Uno de los sitios más visitados en la ciudad de México por los conocedores de arte de todo el mundo con tendencias marroquíes y africanas así como una fuerte inspiración en el folklore de los años 40s

Esta famosa obra maestra de la arquitectura mexicana mezcla cultura popular con arquitectura mediterránea. Puedes contemplar las exposiciones temporales que alberga , desde escultura hasta fotografía .

Puedes ver la interpretación y el significado de cada lugar en la casa e ingeniosidad que utilizo el ingeniero/Arq. Luis Barragán , por su gusto de la arquitectura y creencia. Algo colonial.

La influencia de Luis Barragán en la arquitectura mundial sigue creciendo día con día, y su casa, conservada con fidelidad tal como la habitó su autor hasta su muerte en 1988. Es muy visitada .

La familia que habita la casa, son super lindos . Dan buenos consejos de lugares relacionados con la obra y accesibles con los estudiantes.

Este hombre hizo y colaboró en casi todo lo que se desarrolló en la Zona Metropolitana durante el Siglo XX, y muy posible, hasta el Fracc donde vives. Genio y figura...bien vale un Pritzker.

Extraordinaria !!! Por algo es patrimonio de la humanidad. No volveré a ver una casa de la misma manera. Visitarla con luz de medio día es lo mejor

Interesante. Es importante recalcar que es una propuesta habitacional que se construyó a lo largo de 40 años de vida, por lo que el grado de sensibilidad está depuradísimo.

A veces es complicado hacer la visita ... la casa es espectacular. Desde chiapas visitando con los alumnos es lo mejor

Permiso para tomar fotos muy caro ! Pero no importa, lo pago!!! UNESCO World Heritage Site, vale mucho la pena.
