Crispy pork belly with basil , and sliced pork shoulder with chili powder are amazing. Garlicky quail or frog -yum. Delivery till midnight. I've tried maybe 30 things here and they were all amazing.
Sure Lers Ros is the only authentic Thai restaurant with rabbit , frog and venison on its regular menu, but even the pad Thai rivals the best you'll find anywhere in Thailand. [Eater 38 Member] Read more
This is by far the best Thai food I ever had in the U.S. The rabbit , the duck , pork dishes are all top notch. Make a reservation ahead of time, this place is very busy and the wait can be long.
Don’t come here and expect an intimate ambiance. The restaurant is busy and give you a real experience of Asian style . Check out the last item on their Special Menu. It’s the best thing I ever had!
Best Thai in San Francisco. I love the pork belly , duck larb , spicy beef salad , five spices stewed pork leg , and the whole fried tilapia .
After the reviews read,I tried the pork shoulder slides as a starter: delicious! my main was the pork belly and loved it! My wife took the red curry and was excellent also!
Some of the best thai I've had outside of thailand. A bit pricier than other thai restaurants , but well worth the money for the quality.
IMO there are very few good Thai restaurants in SF. This one is probably one of the good ones. Generous portions and overall really good food. Being a vegetarian , menu includes same usual suspects.
Another exceptionally good asian restaurant in this really shitty neighborhood . They do a good job of leaving the street flavor outside however. Crispy duck salad was outstanding. Great curries too.
Delicious food. I found myself a place in SF that has great Som Tam (papaya salad ). We also tried the whole tilapia it was tasty but dry next time stick to basics ????????
Appetizers: Samosas (skip), spring rolls (skip), tom kha soup (skip). Main entree: pad thai (awesome! And huge portion !), egg fried rice (awesome!) pad kee mao (ok)
One of my favorite soups is tom kreang nai, a clear broth with slices of liver , intestines and other entrails, and strips of preserved mustard greens . The soup is light but has an engaging mustiness Read more
A fan favorite among our chefs friends, this is where many of them eat on their day off. This isn’t some of the best Thai in SF, it’s some of the best Thai in the country !
Very nice staff , had the hottest food ever after I asked for MILD but with sugar it still tasted good and I do understand why they are the best in San Fran. Lines for ages out the door.
Phenomenal. Place was busy so plan accordingly. Crab appetizer was my favorite but all of the dishes were great.
It’s amazing! Try the Pad Thai and ask for extra spicy . Pad see ew was good too and the Green curry . They have lunch combos too but their more standard.
Best delivery I've ever had. Came in about 45 min, $15 minimum and ridiculously good garlic pork and ginger rice . This place makes me miss NYC less
Papaya salad , pork belly with basil , duck larb , green curry with beef , rice . Great meal for 4.
The pork shoulder (alone or with a salad ) is to die for. Paired with a citrus dipping sauce , it's a fatty but delicious appetizer ... for one. I have a hard time sharing this dish. :)
Everything!! Coconut red curry , fried pork belly , papaya salad and don't forget to get the mango rice pudding for dessert !!! ????????????
Get the crispy pork belly . People call this dish a standout and a "must try" on Lers Ros' long menu. Read more
Everything was delicious. My favorites were: Pla Trout Tod Nam Pla; Som Tom Khai Kem; Kaeng Keaw Wan Luk Chin Pla-Krai; Durain. Read more
Their Kai Pad Kai Tod is up there with the best of 'em. Absolutely scrumptious.
#62 Crispy Pork Belly for the win! Get it with the Garlic and Giger rice and Thai chili pepper !
The real thing !!!! I just have a great dinner ! I have been in Thailand and this place really honors tai food!! You must try it!
This is where you bring a friend and order a whole fish . If you have ever been intimidated by it, don't be. Such a rich experience.
Very authentic Thai food with items you can't find on most menus. The loud club music they play can't even distract you from how delicious their food is.
if you're visiting San Francisco, looking for some authentic Thai and have an hour for lunch ; come here get the pork shoulder and chicken pad Thai and you won't be disappointed
Pad see-ew is great. Also the fried trout is tops. And if you are in the mood for soup get the tom kha kai
You can't go wrong. Loved the chicken with red sauce , kaffir leaves and peppercorns , coconut soup , pork belly and mango sticky rice . Service sucks, neighborhood is shady, but the food is worth it.
While still good, skip the pad Thais and typical dishes and get the pork belly , duck , eggplant etc etc dishes. Flavorful, kinda salty, spicy .
With no sound baffling, this might be the loudest restaurant I've encountered in the past couple of years. Read more
Hands down the best Pad Thai I have ever consumed. Space is limited, so call ahead.
You need to try plain rice soup . That's Thais' late-night meal. Have it with kana moo krob (stir-fried crispy pork w/ kale ) and pak boong fai dang (stir-fried on choy). Thai-styled omelet is good too
Authentic thai food with attention to detail and quality. Try the neur tod, pad prik king, yum woonsen
Had amazing tom yum shrimp , kor moo yang salad , and sautee tofu with eggplant for dinner . Thai spicy rules.
Authentic Thai. Try the larb moo at the spiciest level, eat with sticky rice . Just as I would at home.
Red curry . Pad kee mao . You honestly cannot go wrong at this spot. Best Thai food of my life
This place is great for dinner but even great at lunch . Order lunch combo and pick 2 of their amazing dishes.
Spicy pan fried noodles were extra spicy , would highly recommended! And the quail appetizer was very good.
Fried fish is filleted and butterflied into something succulent and easy to eat. Amazing noodles , some of the best Thai anywhere.
Haven’t tried thai food so delicious and full of flavours and aromas! of course is spicy , be causious
One of the best in SF. Service can be slow but the dishes don't disappoint. Love the green curry !
New Yorkers: this place is the caliber of the best Thai places in Queens, like SriPraPhai. The default spiciness is perfect, unless you hate chilies.
We loved the Garlic Pepper Rabbit , Pad Ped Alligator (tastes like chicken !) and the Green Papaya Salad with Prawns .
Probably the best Thai in SF and open late ! The pork shoulder salad , house-made beef jerky , and green beans with pork are some of our favs.
Wow!! The soup comes out in this amazing bowl on fire! The red curry & Thai tea were amazing as well .
We (party of 2) shared the coconut soup as an appetizer . Honestly that would have been a sufficient lunch for a smaller appetite.
Pork shoulder slices are amazing (and use the sauce)!
After traveling to Thailand, other SF restaurants haven't made the cut. The Red Curry with Duck here was phenomenal
The Lychee Ice Tea & 5 Spices Duck Noodle was AWESOME! It HIT the spot. - The Foodie Whore
One of the best place in SF for Thai Boat Noodles. If you are new to Boat Noodles and want to try all the different varieties. Get the small bowl for about $2.50 each. - Daniel Dang
Good venue for live bands. Has an old time feel that’s not too big. - Debbie
Outstanding 20's atmosfere And cocktails... But for a full prohibitiobism experience.. Ask for the Library! - Alessio Sanzogni
Nice cocktails...not too crowded or loud. Can usually grab a table easily. - Natalie K
