If you go with a 4+ in your party, ask them to make up a platter for you with a mix of veggies and meat. Everything on the plate was really good particularly the lamb

Matthew Pires

4ppl for lunch & let the waiter pick the meal... so delicious. Veggy platter for 2 w/ med spicy beef and spicy lamb . Spicy doesn't mean hot.

This is the second Ethiopian restaurant I've tried in Boston. The culture is unique and the foods are amazing. Go head, try something new!

Some favorites from our review: the tender, tangy beef (ye siga alicha) and the nutty, herb-scented collard greens (gomen wet). Finish off your meal with some coffee for if you prefer a bold blend. Read more

Excellent overall. Nice outdoor space . Food is tasty, filling, and relatively low cost. Vegan options available. Unique cuisine.

The vegetarian dishes are standouts. On the red-meat side try the tenderloin tips from the Horn of Africa. They've got beer and wine , and working on getting Ethiopian mead !

(Best of Boston 2013-ETHIOPIAN) Improper Bostonian says, "A meal at Blue Nile is always intimate . Jade walls snugly enclose 10 tables and pendant lamps blaze like low-hanging stars."

Love that they have a variety of sides when you order their combination meals. However, if you do takeout , make sure they get your order right!

Miser wet in this place is phenomenal. Take it from someone that has been to most Ethiopian restaurants in Boston. The dish is simmered to perfection!

Karie

Loved this place. Highly recommend the Ktifo (spicy beef ), Yebeg (lamb ), lentils , and yellow peas .

Ryann McMahon

Absolutely amazing food and staff . Try the vegetable platter with beef or lamb on the side.

You have to try the chicken with Injera ... Simply phenomenal... Best Ethiopian food in Boston

The food is great! Try a meat combo platter -- the beef is excellent.
