This is what your gran would cook if you adopted a Jap obaasan. Simple, comforting and well-executed. Love the grilled winter yellowtail cheek, beef tendon stew , mushroom tempura and pickles .
The blue fin tuna belly is supppper yummy!!! Love the chef 's personalized service. He gave great suggestion to us tat sake goes well wid e salted squid . Lotsa jap customers. Highly recommended! ^^
Very nice fresh sashimi n tako.. But must order liquor or else they don't welcome you !
The rudest restaurant ! Owner asked on tel if we were drinking,we said yes, made a reservation for us&our 12 year-old. Didn’t let my son in for he won’t drink! Told us to go find other place to eat!
Notoriously biased towards Singaporeans. We got here on reservation for 4 persons, and they moved 3 Japanese who were later than us to a larger table when it became available. Won't be back.
Very authentic Japanese food ..
You'll have better luck getting a table here if you say you're drinking with your meal

Love the great food with Japanese Sake. Should order homemade Oden with Japanese Sake by the original glass. It's Japanese style! - Snow Flower
Tried the ramen champion section: Buta God Ramen Ikkyu = very above average only. Would definitely come back again though. Nice place. - Romeo Hsueh
